About
I know I’ve been inactive as a player for a long time, and theres a reason for it. In october 2022, I overdosed on amphetamine, and since then my life has gone downhill. I lost my uni (even though I didn’t really value it at the time), I lost my passion, and most importantly, I lost my sense of self. Since then, I’ve been constantly fighting depression and anxiety. I’m really sorry to everyone who believed in me and supported me. I never fully achieved what I wanted in this game, and probably never will. I never attended OWC, even though I had the potential, havent become the player I wanted to be, and I lost a huge amount of depth, understanding, and connection to both the game and myself.
Even though I'm still able to play the game, my hands are injured. After the overdose, I developed osteoarthritis in my right hand. For those who don’t know what that means, basically, my joints are damaged, so I can’t hold a pen anymore and have to play with a mouse. I was known for my aim and precision, and now that skillset is mostly gone, which is more than half of the gameplay for me. But there are way more to it. After years of practicing high-bpm singletap, my index finger on my left hand hasn’t been the same. It doesn’t hurt, but every time I try to singletap for more than one session, my finger gets weaker, and the numbness keeps getting worse. (really curious if theres a person with the same issue as me)
Anyway, thanks for reading this. I felt very vulnerable writing it, but I hope it helps someone learn from my mistakes. Don’t do drugs - or if you decide to, be extremely careful. Don't overwork, rest is as important as working hard.
