About
Arterial rupture on both hands as of January 2026. Both of my hands cannot move their fingers like they used to. Not disabling, but it really screws up my tapping stability most of the time. I still enjoy playing maps from time to time with Difficulty Adjust. I play multiplayer on both stable and lazer.
Update: I got a minor head injury and now my arms and fingers are shaky 😂✌️
I unpinned my EZ scores but then they made a reading rework... my larp phase is over
btw lu klo elitis low ar tp gbs main apapun yg kompleks 6*+ pake ez/ar0 lu mending diem aja drpd bacot

my low AR/reading maps (hardest to easiest)
I hold a personal belief that perfect stacks usage are not fit for "reading" maps. This belief is mostly exacerbated by the amount of AR 8 and below maps using them as a crutch for reading, which makes these maps (personally) very uncomfortable to play for an FC. Because of this, I've made some low AR maps (mostly for HD2 slots) that I would enjoy for myself and hopefully for other players who also feel the same. This list assumes that you have Hidden on, but the difficulty order should be similar for NoMod as well.
As much as I am proud of some of these maps (despite their glaring flaws in map design, like ignoring contrast altogether just to create artificially consistent difficulty for a tournament context), you are better off learning low AR and reading by playing AR 8 and below maps from 2013 and earlier. They are perfect for you to teach yourself how to read rhythm imperfections/inconsistencies in a way where it doesn't feel like it's the map's fault.
Grand Thaw - Aventyr [AVENTJIR (Original)] or [Republic of France Collab (OIT Edit)]
Mechanics: 9.5/10, Reading: 10/10 (Original)
Mechanics: 7.5/10, Reading: 9/10 (Collab OIT Edit)
Original map has no New Combo cues and is more obscure to read due to the map structure. The collab map has the same rhythm as the original, but with New Combo cues, an easier to read structure, and an overall easier mechanics requirement
Rigel Theatre feat. Miura - NORDLYS [panjat pinang]
Mechanics: 8/10, Reading: 11/10
This map is an attempt to map every sound in the song just to artificially inflate difficulty. Funnily enough this wasn't for a tournament, I just mapped it because I liked the song. (my friends hated the map)
BEMANI Sound Team "Sota F." - DIGITALIZER [-TwiHD gets Prohuntermaxxed while FAW gets l4d2Jockeyed (araran spectating)]
Mechanics: 9.5/10, Reading: 9.5/10
Earcheck map with difficult mechanics. Lots of tech-y elements and really sharp movement changes or something. More practiceable compared to whatever the firetruck Aventyr is
Rigel Theatre - L'Equinoxe [Epsilon Delta]
Mechanics: 9.5/10, Reading: 9/10
Rhythm-oriented map with 7* mechanics. Relatively simpler to learn than DIGITALIZER and Aventyr.
Rigel Theatre - Tir na nOg [Antediluvian Paradise]
Mechanics: 8/10, Reading: 8.5/10
Earcheck map with difficult mechanics
Fotzu - POTOMIRU PINERA [AR8 for normal people]
Mechanics: 9.5/10, Reading: 6/10
Generic overinflated difficulty map. This is easy to read but is basically 7* because its flow aim
HHHxMMxST - Oboro (dj TAKA Remix) [Mirage]
Mechanics: 6/10, Reading: 7.5/10
Alt map with obscure rhythm choices as well as reading traps
Nekomata Master - Byakuya Gentou [@omf gang DONT FORGET TO PRACTICE EZ2 GUYS]
Mechanics: 5.5/10, Reading: 6/10
Finger control/rhythm-oriented reading
Various Artists - Mejiro Sanka [1 Mejiro, 2 Mejiro, 3 Mejir...ngorok]
Mechanics: 4/10, Reading: 5/10
Acapella mapping. Easy to read, hard to acc
TAG underground - POSSESSION [F4UZ4N's Hard]
Mechanics: 4/10, Reading: 4/10
Old map style, AR7
Tsuzuri - NAME [U main pake glasses]
Mechanics: 5/10, Reading: 1/10
Similar to RE Aoharu, but harder to read and aim
Kemmei Adachi - Bikkura-kotta Rock (Instrumental) [PATA PATA PATA PON]
Mechanics: 2/10, Reading: 3.5/10
Stacks with rhythm that need close attention to the song
Nor - RE Aoharu [The Blue Spring REturns]
Mechanics: 3.5/10, Reading: 0.5/10
Good for beginners trying to get into basic low AR on a more comfortable-to-play map
Mejiro Ardan (CV: Saya Aizawa) - Glass no Etoile [public no Etoilet]
Mechanics: 1.5/10, Reading: 2/10
Good for beginners trying to get into reading without the map being overly difficult
other than these low AR maps I don't have much to show. I don't map a lot and do it mostly for fun. Feel free to give feedback; keep in mind that my bad mapping issues are mostly fundamental and I'm too busy to be in a mentorship program Lol so if you could give feedback on my fundamentals and overall executions instead of regular modding that would be awesome
