Playstyles ✋
I play with click + x now! I used to play mouse + keyboard, tablet + keyboard, and also mouse only!
I am not playing tablet due to injury (Probably will never touch it again)

Injuries 🤕
So far, these are all the kinds of injuries I have gotten from this RSI simulator.
Left index finger - Loss of fine motor control, I can't control without it shaking like I have Parkinson's. Pain around the base of the finger. Caused by when I was trying to gain stamina and increase my tapping speed in 2019. I played a lot of stamina and speed maps and tried to singletap way beyond my ability. My worst injury, still affects me till this day and I can't play properly because of it, even if I don't use the finger.
Left middle finger - Tightness in between PIP and DIP joint, hurts when I crack my finger. Caused by tensing my hand and tapping with this finger too much. Comes back every now and then if I am not careful but I found out that to fix it I just have to massage the middle joint (It's really obvious where to massage cause it will hurt when I start massaging.)
Right index finger - Pain around base of finger and around the middle joint. Caused by clicking while tensing my finger too much (Specifically it happened when I was playing this map on DT). Recovered fully by rest and changing my clicking technique woohoo!
Right middle finger - Similar injury to my right index finger. Luckily though, I managed to avoid the worst and it went away relatively quickly (About a week or 2) because I was quick in identifying the injury when it was not too serious and giving it ample time to recover + massaging.
Right elbow - Pain within the elbow, it's kind of hard to describe it. Caused by using the arm rest. I realised that when I play with an arm rest, I put a lot of pressure on my elbow as I use it to aim. This only happens when I play mouse though, and the issue has been happening since I started mouse only. I tried many methods to fix it and was even convinced that I couldn't play low sensitivity, so I switch from 900dpi to 1500dpi for a good 6 months (and it did not even fix the issue...). This problem prevented me from improving because my elbow would always hurt when I pushed myself and played higher SR and I constantly needed to take breaks, which was why I pleateued for so long even though I was playing rather consistently. Lasted from 2019 - 2022 when I finally got fed up with it and started messaging mouse only players if they had these issues. It was only when Riviclia mentioned that using an arm rest might not be too good that I found out the problem was the arm rest all along. I have not had this issue ever since I stopped using the arm rest to play. Thank you so much Riviclia for singlehandedly saving my arm and my osu! career when I messaged you randomly one day ❤️. Shortly after fixing this issue, I transitioned to click + x
Right ring finger and pinky - I grouped this together because the pain is not exactly in the fingers themselves. Specifically, it was the area around the wedge/base of both fingers. Caused my gripping the mouse too tightly and playing the game with my arm too tensed + bad posture/gripping technique. It goes away relatively quickly but it is something that can come back and bite me if I am not careful with my posture and grip. I also realised that it helps and prevents it when I stretch my ring finger by pulling it.
Right thumb - Pain around the extensor and the base of the thumb. I use my thumb when I aim with mouse and it is caused by bad technique. Basically only really happens when I forget finger aiming and start relying too much on arm aiming only, which causes me to tense my thumb alot more to maintain a constant grip. Honestly, I did not expect my thumb to get injured but it just happened one day.
