Our last reunion--originally meant for funsies--brought upon closure of what used to be a pipe dream of mine. Even to this day, everything felt so surreal; I think I can say on the team's behalf that our unexpected 5-4 win against Taiwan lit up this collective desire within us and our loss against Germany during QF only served to set it ablaze... until finally, we avenged ourselves in Day 2 Finals, and the stairs crumbled down with grace as we stood up on the podium for our very first time (and may it not be the very last either). Here's wishing for Team Germany to get theirs as well soon!!!
