About

After I struggled too much to make decision whether I still (trying to) resume back the OSU Catch career for about a year. Now I officially inform that I will uninstall OSU and will not come back indefinitely. Thanks for everyone that carrying me during tourney (No matter seniors or juniors). Honestly, I am still unwillingly to accept the fact that I could not manage to catch up my current experience until now. However, I will leave my 9009 PP record here for those who wants to surpass me in future. Goodbye, my 3 Years of OSU Catch life ends here.

Officially joined Malaysia CTB as high-tier player (who has achieved about 3.8k-4kpp) at year 2020, alongside with AstralLoki, Komekko. And I do appreciate that more player to join the team after year 2021 (like now we have DTNLRiki, loftylime, [MY]error_exe, leaf89) and other new Malaysia players who are dedicated to achieve 3kpp in Osu!Catch mode.
Yeah, although Catch is relatively less popular game mode among other 3 modes. Even so, we still strive to achieve higher achievement.

How I get into OSU

懒得翻译去英文

TLDR: Because of my university friend (This Hoshino_) invite me to play OSU. I initially play OSU in Mania Mode, later I convert the main game mode to CTB.

2018年，上大学的时候遇到一位同学玩OSU, 那时我自己也是对Mania有蛮好的理解，他就让他的号给我试玩Mania mode。然后就说：“你自己开个账号来玩啦！”。然后自己懒的开账号，硬生生拖了一年才来入这个坑。后面也有一些同学开OSU账号来一起玩multi room。

最开始的时候，我那肯定是来玩Mania的啊。我是完全理解不到Standard 和Taiko 的Notes的。后来接触了CTB过后就少玩Mania了。

彩蛋: 他竟然跟我讲他2022删除account是因为被ban了。现在有回来玩下。

(Meaning: OK guys, look at me. I'm gonna to announce something that I'm a stupid dumbass. No problem huh.)

- After I get used to the voice of NC (Especially songs from female singer), I'm less likely to listen DT for some of the maps. So, before the tournament starts, I have to record the whole song in NC -> reduce the playing speed into 0.5 -> record the whole song again -> lastly slap it into the map file.

The fact is that, the DT is 1.5 times the original speed. If I want to make the song back to original speed, it needs to times 0.67 of the 150% speed, which is quite impossible to edit by just slowing down with 0.5 or 0.75 times, which are the most common slow down multipliers. Moreover, the quick math shows that 150*0.67 = 100.5. The 0.5 is still consider as a "speed up" to the song.

- Good thing is, the OSU Lazer provide the DT mod that can speed up the song up to 200%. Now I just able to do the dumb things with more accurate outputs. But still, I wonder when I can use both DT and NC on the map without interruption of sound for every tournament?

- At the end, my most straightforward advice for you : Just find an audio editing software and edit the song. (In fact, I realized it later and start learning about it LMAO)
