What a time to be alive.

I started with Android ports and played opsu! in school on breaks, watched all popular osu! clips dozens of times before eventually getting my hands on some old ass laptop.
Back then, the grind was real. The grind was the whole point. Or was it?

Motivated by the best players of that time, I played for hours every day. Climbed the ranks actively, met some great people, and eventually hit 3 digits.
Over the time, the game stopped being purely about the grind and became more about keeping my mental health.

Life events eventually tore down what I had built, leaving me without the strength to stay in peak shape.
"That's just a game" some say. It's not. Even though I can't really compete anymore, osu! keeps me mentally alive. And I am grateful for that.
