This is the quote I use as my excuse for making tons of mistakes because I have no idea what I'm doing motto for trying out new things! c:
Staying afraid and never at least trying to do anything will never get as far as trying to do something, failing a little, and learning a little. That's why I'll always do my best to step forward even though I'm a coward.
It does make me wonder if the quote is reversed if it would still be true. Since I make tons of mistakes, does that mean I'm trying new things? Or am I just dumb. Who knooows.



a.k.a. don't be afraid to remap! don't limit yourself by working between the mistakes you have made! remapping may be faster to get the results you want! he didn't say it about mapping particularly but I think that's ok.

My works are made through a chaos mix of GIMP, Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and hand drawing to make assets, and notepad++ for scripting. For notepad++ I use a custom user defined language for highlighting the kinds of commands, using the same color scheme as the in-game editor. Don't ask me about coding for storyboard stuff, I don't know how to code. I'm sorry! I'm stubborn and enjoy doing it by scripting directly too much. Coding just confuses me >_<. Anything else I'm always open to give opinions or advice on when it comes to storyboarding though.

Relevant years will include MCA top 5 placements for posterity, since older years didn't badge category winners or full top 3 for grand.

★★✰ TWC Sound Team "Strike Back Squad" - BUZZ CUTZ - My participation was more of a director and assistant, huge props for Kuroise and Coppertine and RiceSS making this all come together in our vision.
★★★ Sydosys - Partition - Collab storyboard with Promachos. We had two major limitations: taiko playfield, and we were asked to keep everything grayscale. We played a lot with unique materials and textures with the addition of 3d animations throughout the storyboard. It turned out incredibly cool for a wonderful journey of a song!
★★✰ kanemiko - Ruin in Cascade - A wonderful world and concept. I want to know what it would be like to be her. A strong start to 2025!

2024

★★✰ Camellia - Operation: Zenithfall - Megacollab storyboard. Admittedly, my part in literal storyboarding was smaller, and that's the only reason it's 2* despite the storyboard being INCREDIBLE, because the stars represent my personal contribution. My main role was more geared towards idea generation and parts supervision and design, but I'm so glad to have been part of such a stellar osu! World Cup project!
★★★ Minstrel - today is the day - With the power of wonderful illustrations that were put together, I tried to make a very freedom flying storyboard. I did the clouds intro video in Blender (this set my pc on fire), I did the rest of the intro in After Effects, and I did the character animations in After Effects (this set my pc on fire), and then did all the storyboard animations (this set my brain on fire).
★★★ WangleLine - fist-fighting with the pearl sand insect - I loved creating the live2d style animation of the amazing bg art by KescAlis! and for such a fascinating and cool original song by WangleLine! Support the official upload!
★★✰ Kabocha feat. Aitsuki Nakuru - Dear The Night I Loved - I LOVE JAZZ!! Lyrics storyboard with a stylish flair, carried by Polytetral's amazing design!

★★★ SOOOO - illloved (osu! Edit) - A collaboration with melon boy for the osu!catch World Cup 2024. I'm very grateful to be able to make an all-original storyboard for a new original by an artist I love so much. We put a lot of work into making everything really intense and fitting to the song, I hope you can check it out!
★★★ ABSOLUTE CASTAWAY - step by step - I had the honor of making this for the osu!catch World Cup 2024! It even got uploaded as the official music video with Iyouka's intro, so be sure to check it out~ -> Official MV on YouTube!
★★✰ Fireflight - Unbreakable - It accomplished everything I wanted to do for this storyboard. Obviously, it's my best storyboard so far in 2024. Nothing can top this. Clearly.

★★✰ THE ORAL CIGARETTES - Songs Compilation - Another Nevo compilation, another Noffy storyboard. I changed the style up for this map as something special and think it came out very well.
★✰✰ MYTH & ROID - HYDRA - A kind of slideshow storyboard with a few other effects added in.

★★✰ Adust Rain - psychology - Started in late 2017 and finished mid 2019, this storyboard is a mix of different styles I've picked up over time. The most notable feature here is lyrics are individually styled and animated throughout.
★✰✰ Dictate - Militant - A minimalistic SB that subtly adds to the gameplay experience without being distracting!
★★★ nekodex - new beginnings - The new osu! tutorial. I rate it 3 stars because HOLY !!! IT'S THE OSU TUTORIAL!! YOOOOOO!!! (unranked but bold because it's bundled with the client)
