this is a perpetual work in progress as i have yet to experience my favorite works im sure

this map is the opposite of overstimulating. its droning atmosphere lures you in and keeps you in something genuinely unique and amazing and i'm glad to have been able to experience it

The Microphones - The Glow Pt.2 it's hard to find a mapset with 2 difficulties that complement eachother in this way i think. if you like phil elverum then youll probably enjoy both mirash's and attendant's renditions of this beautiful and heart wrenching title track

Bjork - Unravel rhythmically it is pretty and complex, this song is very special to me personally and the map is no different

Cocteau Twins - Kookaburra this map is an experience that is both very different yet familiar at the same time... much like the song, which is written and sung in a language that doesn't exist

G Jones - Time probably the most intensely precise work of art i've ever seen in this medium of beatmapping. it just hits all the right spots for me. it builds on itself with no mathematical error in a way i just don't see in other maps, bekko is really good at that. it's so fun to play too

Camellia - Reyuuseigun this map is so futuristic and crafted with the most extreme care. i was blessed to see a full combo of it in 2021 and from that point onward i have been quite frankly obsessed, even hyperfixated on it's slidershapes and patterns

ELECTROCUTICA feat. F9 - Triplaneta this map made me cry, deetz's work evokes the emotion the song is trying to get you to feel perfectly

Traktion - The Near Distant Future it's really hard to describe what about this map is so good because it just is. it feels like a fabulous display of raw mapping skill we have never seen since, easily 10 years ahead of it's time
