About
[03/04] In the beginning, you might have given a choice before you're born: whether to become the best quickly but rusting very quickly, or to never rust but your improvement will be at a snail's pace. somehow, i have chosen the latter, and that's why i can still be as good at a game as i left it, even if it's years gone by. however, in every game i go, i hit a plateau that results on me quitting, even though i love games so much, but being the best at them has eluded me... now you may ask, how trying to do the same thing in valorant will work? my answer: for once, i refused to give up, and be more open to changes. figure out how to be more disciplined. if i figure out how to be the best despite my limitations, i'll figure out my life, too...
[01-02/04/2026] most people quit after a hand injury. Meanwhile me: comes back to osu! because of a hand injury. I had a slip and fall resulting on thumb pains. That didnt let me play Valorant, but it let me play osu! And next day (april 2) i wanna play osu again! Is this gonna be my return to osu? so far, it feels like i can play like i did in 2024 with my new sens of 1000 dpi 1x!
[25/09/25] I can't believe i didn't rep Silksong here, Silksong is so good! Also looks like my brief return to osu! was short lived, but who knows? Maybe one day I'll finally setup Lazer (yes i still don't have it because of my big song folder)
Meanwhile I'll be finishing Silksong... and trying to be out of (currently) hardstuck bronze in Valorant (i swear this happens in every competitive game i play ever... And yet i can do some hard stuff in Hollow Knight and Silksong (i will try an Soulslike eventually, it's high on my list)
Also also i need to get used to my new sens in osu so I'll probably not be setting a new top 5 in a while
I am a chronic choker, and now i get to enjoy new top plays even without any full combos, thanks pp committee
also i might have to play actual farm maps (if i even can), im tired of being in my rank of 250k(yes i was never a deranker, just someone who struggled to make top play worthy plays)
april 29 2024: I will be learning to play mouse only to improve my aiming efficiency in Valorant.... osu! may not be good for aiming in fps games, but it is good for improving your mouse mechanics, which is used on fps games + others. I will still be a mouse+keyboard main, though [update: stopped doing that a long time ago, playing osu like normal now]
Seeing the jumps in improvements in 2024 (as of march 18) fills me with determination...

Me! page 3.0 when?
Shits outdated but still accurate just not up to date
I still haven't learned tablet, but i actually prefer playing w the mouse. Especially when i have shit nerve control I finally have a reason to play tablet: my support for mouse wires is gon
i can't play when my mouse wires are dangling so i finally picked up tablet again. damn im improving so fast
^ this is outdated again, i am still playing mouse grrr if i play this tablet for 1 month i will have no regrets selling it for profit
sybau technique is the budget Mathi- please give him maps with speed stamina finger control and aim w some reading (or even just two of those mentioned as long as it includes some form of stamina or speed or finger control) his newest play is proof:

The stream meta for me is over..... But i realized i like aim control, with aim buffed slightly and awkward aim buff from last rework still in place, this is what i want to farm next... provided that i can play osu properly again >_< the future is uncertain
I bought a tablet and still stayed as mouse main despite all that mouse drift.... I'll learn you eventually, mr. tablet!

Approaching to crush your tournament dreams with Dunk PhD, CuftaJunior and koru_u
I've got a tablet today, but in an interesting turn of events, i learned to use it to make my mouse aim more consistent, too. Let's see what happens next
That moment when a 143 pp play gets you 2k 0_0 literally still underskilled. And why did that jump farm map felt effortless when i did have to retry it multiple times to get it?
i thinki figured out why i cant push my stamina or speed: can't strain from the maps i play(which means i pushed my limits in tapping), only understreams and some fingerlocks for that split seconds. But here's the thing: why? Ive noticed that my tapping technique isnt as relaxed as i thought it was, and it leads to fingerlocks i suppose. As a result, i may not be able to utilize all my tenacity. At least thats my opinion. SO i will work on tapping technique and see if i can push my limits again.
side note: my aim is suprisingly improving. playing more higher stars is paying off
addnote may 4: Now i also realized i wasnt lifting my fingers enough which also led to fingerlocks, but ofc i'l not gonna lift it like i do on jumps. from this hopefully smooth sailing
list of top play chokes:
1. starry sky [insane]
2. home [insane] song by my first story
3. monosugoi ikioide keine ga monosugoi uta [lunatic] 1x shitmiss
4. pieces [return] +dt 2x sb (thats a stream map with a few jumps, thanks to numero_zer0e for putting this in a tournament)
5. with fire and sword (2013)[theminorsonek's insane] choking another streamy map aaaaaa
6: thoughtcrime [insane] shitmissing on the middle
7: kakusei -fractional vision- [insane] acc choke... that ends the streak of top play chokes as its my current top play
I will not be submitting any scores for the entire February since we didn't qualify in 6wc. Now That February came, if i play it wont be for pp. Also, no tournaments
The no tournaments things was not under the promise, i just needed to be busy in February. I'm starting tourneys again in 26-27
Also i legit broke my promise started playing from this week for pp again
i grinded stamina and now my finger control is garbage -_- so much for stamina ugh
edit: apparently it's back?
wait i can farm?
In the past, for a long, long, time, aim farm maps dominated the farm meta.... Other maps were less farmable, and some were even niche maps.... As of yesterday, it has all changed.... Now, it's a time where rhythm complexity reigns supreme, where well rounded-ness is the best skill, where something as niche as slider aim is even getting more recognition by the ever revered pp system... And this js why, I'm turning from a skill enjoyer to skill farmer...
Now how do i end my osu break again?
New quest: get 5 digit without farming before march 31. Seems impossible....... Or is it?
An accuracy player with a low aim skillcap... that's not something you'd see very often... choke master YEP
Now i'm on a journey to improve my aim skillcap, now that i learned to significantly reduce my encounters with bad mouse drift, partly thanks to fancy lad's reccomendations (really, thank u!). So, you may be seeing me farming some aim maps, thats just me trying to improve my aim in multiple facets. But i will try to avoid the incredibly easier maps among them, but sometimes i just happen to fc one without knowing how easy it is for me. For sep4-5, i've tried to fix my misscount by learning to aim faster, i also partially played awkward aim, which somehow feels no different than normal aim maps in misscount. Maybe my next step should be to have more FC goals. Need to figure out how to deal with nerves related to FCing as well
Currently on a tourney break to leave room for more IRL stuff as well as to practice mechanics
Finger control is love, finger control is life

First tournament victory~! We won the osu! Amino Tournament as Pina Avocado!
Full alt with accuracy is 100% real and I'm a proof of it(not THE proof, A proof. I've seen many normal and some top players who have good accuracy as full alt)
Yep, i love playing tournaments! Often trying my best, looking for a top 5 position at least
Update: As of now I've been farming again but the tournaments continue, as for my farming picks i prefer playing things that require more skill or things i genuinely find impressive to play
Update 2(Apr 19): Actually farming pp maps for real, getting good acc on those have become even easier and despite my janky aim being janky, it still managed to improve. I'm now one of the few people who hold an A rank on Sotarks diff of Bombs away(but still missing a ton, nevertheless that was one of my best plays on a map with 1-2 jumps, which i suck at normally, although i feel like with one less miss It would be worth a little more pp(i missed on an easier pattern before hitting more of the diffspike than usual)
I'm tired of being the worst mouse aim player there is... even my streaming is better than my aim now smh
Changed from 1500 to 1250 dpi since 5 Apr 2021, I've been able to set more combo scores, especially high cs ones after the change. Might be the lowest i can go comfortably. I've noticed I've been gradually going lower since my change to 2x with 1000 dpi more than a year ago. (1600x900)1.5x, 2x, 1.85x, (1366x768) 1.7x(probably the longest standing), 1.6x, 1500 dpi(the second longest imo), 1250 dpi
These are the videos i think i find useful. Just like my page, it needs to be organized by importance and by the skill level required to know it. Also it may have lesser useful videos within. I have yet to take my time to watch the entire playlist again.... https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMVRtx5W-wVWWWqeZ67xQ-v9cw9hXJKFx

If you know any other useful videos and articles(i have yet to make a list of osu articles), tell me
I really want to get bursty& streamy plays on my top plays, i currently kinda suck at this
Remind me to reorganize this thing again after feb 13. Need to put all those update statements into one box with each entry sorted by date (even if i don't have the actual dates, i may know which month it was in, or at least which post was before or after this)
i'll be working on making an improvement timeline video for all 12 months i played
Edit: it's being very bothersome, i only have replays with encrypted names in data/r from another installation, and because the order of the replays are messed up it's taking me too much time to take a replay from a specific time period. I might work on gathering replays again once I'm done with my exams
I'm half as decent as a farmer and 1/30 as decent as a tournament player. I'm trying to improve that number tho, which might result on me farming better too lol.
Fun fact: I got my first 4* FC on https://youtu.be/gF474pF_eP0 before i got my first 5* pass on padoru. Actually, i am still getting more 4* FCs than i get 5* passes, but then again i don't usually play 5* yet, and I don't get many FC's per week. Maybe i will when i get more skill, especially in streaming since it sucks rn
One day, my time will come...
It will be a result of hours upon hours of persistence, perseverance, patience, knowledge, experience and skill..
Others will share the knowledge with me, and likewise, i will do the same. But in the end, anything i do under this account (and no other!) will all be made by me, and me alone. Not another person, not even a piece of software, me.
that is, if God ever allows that to happen......
"Crosses are red,
Cursors are circle,
Why do i below my name have an heart encircled with purpl-wait no that's pink not purple. Also it's not really "encircled", since the outer shape is not actually a circle....."

December updates
My quest to 100 pp is technically over, the play, Hikari [Browiec's Insane] is actually 99.51, but i'm considering it as 100. just like my other plays, i choked it, this time the second last note which i edge hit, otherwise would be an FC. Even though browiec maps can be considered "cheating" (far too farmy compared to even sotarks sometimes), two months ago i felt like i could do it, but my best combo was 261 and best acc was ~93.85%. Buuut it gets down on the rebalance so it won't last long.
Since this moment i want to change how i actually gain pp: prefer longer maps over shorter ones, TV size already feels like an improvement lol, but i will be pushing towards from 2 mins to 3 and eventually 4, 5 and even marathon size maps. And of course, have a variety of skillsets incorporated as a pp play, and if pp doesn't describe it, i might probably make it available as a replay instead. This is what i wanted to do 6+ months ago
To anyone who added me: sometimes I don't even know most people who added me or even people i added them, but i am trying to remember you all, if you feel like chatting or what not, do not hesitate to talk with me
I have started to learn mapping since dec 22, i am challenging myself to get from first map to first ranked map as soon as possible, but first i need to learn actual mapping. I might be too lazy or stupid to map good patterns, i might just become a timer instead, so, learning to time your most complicated maps because i have a pet peeve in timing edit: too lazy already, so i guess i won't be able to rush it to ranked then lel

recent improvement
Recently, i have improved at some things. First, my streaming speed got slightly improved, and now i can finally read ar 10 (HR dreams are coming true, woohoo!)
However, my low ar reading abilities are anything but lost. With this, i will be practicing aspects of HR so i can get to acquire what i truly want: accuracy. But i must not forget: high od isn't the only thing about accuracy, a good grasp of complex rhythms and finger control is just as a big part of it, along with properly training streaming ability as it's still on novice stage...
However, I can't seem to remember exactly what led me to acquire those new skills, like I don't remember doing something specific or noticing a growth spurt after a specific action. Perhaps this time, it was somewhat gradual. For example, the slight stream speed increase might be because i was trying to pass honesty, and in one of my attempts i was trying to not kill my fingers because i have overused them a bit earlier, which might have led me to properly stream?
And when it comes to ar 10, I haven't been practicing HR. But i have been practicing DT because the reading feels different from no mod no matter what AR. So that might be why. But my accuracy is lower always with DT, which i am sure is because of high OD, which i am not used to beyond OD 8. But i realized that when i try to play od 10 for a while as practice, OD 8 feels lax for me so i start to acc it easier. I hope practicing HR is a solution for my aim problems and accuracy desires... and i hope you get to the point where you get to experience having these skills, too.... more than me actually because i am sure you already aim better than me at the very least. If not at least your situation isn't like mine, or so i hope
Update: My aim actually improved in a few days too, seriously, where the heck are these skills coming from!?!? I shall not stop for now

Why do i have almost 300+ hours but have only #330k?(Around Sept-OCT)
Answer: I literally cannot combo a thing. If i do, that's literally pog
Honestly i feel like i have no hope of learning better aim, all i wanna do is ACCURACY! In my following days, i am going to spend my osu sessions on learning to do even better acc, and especially learning to acc weird rhythms and gimmicky patterns, as well as really tight accuracy windows. Oh and lots of finger control
Update: I got a proper mouse this time, and even tho my aim didn't instantly improve, it will allow me to be more comfortable with other styles of aiming, especially arm aim, which wasn't possible at all without being uncomfy with my previous mouse. But that will take a lot of time to relearn. So expect me on some 2* lobbies just for that reason. And yes i was literally using high sens with fingertip based aiming and that would subject me to mouse drift a lot, which i think arm aim will reduce, and hopefully, that will give me better aim skills overall
edit: i still didnt decide to go arm aim and instead get used to my usual wrist/fingertip aim thingy

Thanks for to the beat! team for the osu!supporter ❤️
WTF a SECOND SUPPORTER GIFT thankyouuuuu Endaris!!!!! (4 months, very generous of you!!!)
How i started osu! and why i love it.
I started this game the day i registered (actually it was on the night between jan 02 and 03), and I'm playing it ever since, I'd love to play this everyday, but that doesn't always happen. Although it may actually help me process whatever new things i may have learned? I originally heard this after i started playing Elite Beat Agents in dec 2019, but i don't exactly remember what led me to osu! besides that.... And here's why osu! is my favorite rhythm game, ever:(actually it's my current all time favorite)
1: I can finally beat stuff to the rhythm of the music without being called out for it to stop, or at least that effect is diminished significantly but not completely.... I kinda wanted to be a drummer at some point, but it's not that possible with my current situation. But this became the near perfect remedy!
2: The aiming aspect of the game (yeah talking about the standard mode, my keyboard currently is not very adequate for other modes, but i will probably play them from time to time) makes it feel like I'm on gamer mode (especially since during 2013-now, i became more of a mobile gamer(and yes, real mobile gaming actually exists, if you have the brain for looking past the ones that are cash grabs (or if it's a decently enjoyable game with microtransactions, having the brain to manage to get most as possible without spending real money (but i didn't have this possibility anyways))), but i still played some games in pc from time to time.) And i haven't really played any 3d shooters since at least 2010. It's almost like, two things in one game!
3:I can discover some new music! Although to me, i stopped listening to music by itself most of the time so this game is 90% of when i listen to music now
4: The community is mostly nice and helpful, I don't think i have seen a game community like that (though i Haven't been in a lot of game communities so maybe it isn't just an osu! thing) i cannot say if i truly belong there just yet, but whoever helped me so far, thank you! (I'll list some names in a later revision)
And these are among the reasons i really enjoy this game! So much so i am really determined to become the best player i can be! Actually, i am really aiming to the top spot, but that will never mean that i won't forget to ever have fun. NEVER. I have dropped my opportunity to really become the top player in games just because i no longer enjoyed them. It just doesn't work this way.

My setup
Previous PC specs: Intel i3 2120 CPU, Nvidia GT 540 graphics card, 8 gb ram (so like an average work-ish computer, if we don't consider the ram). I sometimes play on other computers, for example, a really shitty laptop just because of how much i love osu! I even played on school computers before the quarantine.
Current PC specs: Hp Envy 17 laptop, too lazy to list the full stats but it has 12 Gb of ram , Intel Core i7-4710mq cpu, Nvidia geforce 840m graphics card(oh wait, i think that's pretty much all you need to know, guess i'm not that lazy LOL)
Peripherals: Generic small $1ish mouse. i mean this: https://imgur-archive.ppy.sh/discord/98226572468690944-694955264356384838-IMG_20200401_210340.jpg
THE DAYS WITH THAT MOUSE IS OVER!!! Logitech G300s, worth as a long term buy. No tablet here.
Osu settings: currently using 1x on 1366x768 res screen with 1250 dpi(yeah recently changed), raw input on, background dim 80% (i actually like when there's a background behind my playfield), current skin: Cookiezi 2016-02-27 (seriously, that skin helps me read, its op)
Keyboard(currently irrelevant): A4tech KRS_85(just a membrane keyboard with an A shaped key setup or smth. Not suitable for mania) Also, it was bundled with a mouse but it got broke long before i started playing osu!, And i think the sensor of that was better than what i have rn, but nevertheless i don't think it's bad enough to not play with it. Maybe i need to feel the difference of a good mouse sensor 🤔). Also i never touched a mechanical keyboard in my life
Headphones: A4tech HS-30 (I can assure you, the acoustics of this headphones are good enough to enjoy music. I can hear the lows well, highs well and the mids are fine as well, honestly i liked this one so much (compared to other headphones/earbuds i had) i bought the same model after i broke the first one's headphone jack when i was using it with a shitty android tablet(No one other than me could use such a thing for stuff), breaking both the headphone jack and the headphone port of the tablet). It's not expensive, apparently. Suitable for osu!
Monitor(currently irrelevant): LG 20M35, apparently. A normal 60 hz monitor. I have nothing else to say.
HAven't expereinced anything higher yet

My playstyle, my goals and my achievements
I'm a full alternator (or at least close to it), trying to become an accuracy player (I'm not quite there yet). Mouse and keyboard as you see, using what looks like to be a relaxed claw grip and using mostly wrist to aim. I play mostly 4* at the moment, and even though i played a lot of farm in the past, since my first 100 pp, i feel ready to take on more than just farm, and I'm on the lookout for "road of resistance" type maps, long maps in general and also maps that focuses on what i want to improve rn. Thank you, farmables, for helping my aim to be better... I like playing both solo and multi, with current preference over solo, but will most likely not decline a multi invite for a multi using maps around my range. Also i really want to become a tournament player
Long term goals that I may or may not do it in the near future:
-[VERY IMPORTANT] improving finger control. It's almost non existent in any slightly tricky pattern, causing me to get bad accuracy(for example, below 90% on Dead to me instrumental [Shunao's Hard], and that's supposed to be a farmish map. It could be an aim thing, or finger control on spaced triples thing. Or anything, really. Looks like i will need a lot of triple maps too, just like when i needed to practice doubles when I butchered them much, much worse than triples (Especially grouped triples). I had kept mistiming AND misaiming groups of doubles....
-[Also significant] Improving all kinds of aim. Weird angled aim in old maps, flow aim, aim precision (Especially to not butcher jumps, unless i specifically want to) and also aim speed. It seems i can go really far with a mouse and a keyboard
- getting used to AR above 9.5
- in extension finally becoming an HR player. I like HR because you need to tap and aim more precisely, but i can't really play 3* in HR yet because of ar 9.8 and 10
- Improving lower ar reading for higher diff maps. Also being able to read stacks of different rhythms regardless of AR
- getting a tapping speed over 175 bpm, although i also need to improve my overall stamina, my left hand fingers are fat-ish(or muscular?), which limits my finger mobility... My right hand does not have the same issue, dunno why it's faster but i dont aim with left hand lol
Recently(as of mid october ~20) my streaming speed got better overall, so now tower of heaven another diff is doable properly, can also burst 200 bpm but thats all i guess
- Learning to play DT. No HD. Same for HR.
- Learning to properly read and aim HD maps. I kinda suck at HD, AR 8 or 9
- Maybe working to play more of 4* maps to increase my overall fidelity
- Perhaps starting over and gradually play all maps over 2.6* instead of 3* maps at random to increase accuracy and aim consistency (but because i have a lot of maps it's kinda tiring?)
Achievements:
This is a list of my notable replays: https://youtu.be/M6dak3t4BG8 (the replays are actually in the description, and new ones will be added to that as i go)
Earned my first 4* FC medal with A True True Friend. See above video
Some time later I earned my first 5* pass medal with Padoru/padoru [Smokelind's insane]. That one was probably too easy to get a 5* pass on *shrugs*
Looking for a first 100 pp play

My tournament history(and current tournaments?)[includes both badged, if any and unbadged] ACTIVITY STATUS: Very active. But i really should focus on improving skills first
Osu Low Rank Tournament: Eliminated by the first losers round without winning a single point (i dont mean the score in game). Best tourney mappool i have ever seen so far, hands down. The only tourney i am still hyped for despite being one of the first to get eliminated.
Cherry's osu! Beginners Tournament: Lost the qualifers🤣
Sightread FL 2: Got #20 out of 22, despite not playing flashlight (or rather, having it played only on 1-2 maps before getting registered, and i only played FL 30 mins-1hour before my tournament started. At least I didn't get last 😂)
Osu All-Kill tournament: qualified the group stage, no thanks to me.... Lost at the second losers round, again, no thanks to me-oh wait i mean the opposite. i was actually somehow involved with making my team lose and im sorry for that
Osu ancient tournament 2: i progressed in it the similar way as in olrt but for my last round, i had to FF because i was no longer having any PC access at this point.
Remind me to put actual dates next time.
No tourneys between june 15-august due to less regular pc access at the time
Osu low rank tournament season 2: lost the qualifiers as 33rd place(32 would pass) due to my bad management, DM me if you want to know the details. I wont make the same mistakes again but also prefer not to be captain if possible(lol, that aged like milk, i'm pretty much always the captain now)
Oddie's TV size tourney: lost the qualifiers yet again, I'm telling you, i may just be cursed XD (don't take it seriously plz)
Loli's fantasy: i actually passed the qualifiers, but i was unable to show up in match day because i wasn't able to get a working PC, I'm sorry. This shouldn't be a problem in upcoming tournaments
BQT2(started around october 2020): Lost the qualifiers again, our carry quit the tournament so i had no reason to try my best anymore so i just played the qualifier maps as usual. The "curse" continues. Only my skills can break this
20 Dec 2020: Osu PUGs 3* 1v1: I am happy to say that i broke the curse and got my first points! Not only that, i won 3 matches!!! I lost at the semi finals to a very strong player who is similar rank to me. I have been worried if my rank and experience was OP for this tournament, but my matchups were all 316k-293k (i was 300k at the time), the lower ranks(like 400k) got matched to other players, which makes me even more satisfied i pulled through! There is a VOD of the match atm in [url]twitch.tv/molly_sandera[/url] [the vod is dead, i'm sorry. I think there should be a recording of it in my PC too, if not, rip]. I suggest you check it out, especially the first match which was nerve wracking even tho i have played a lot of tourneys, two of which i experienced nerves in. Some of my tourneys are also in my yt, and my twitch used to have it as well. I should find a way to save the VOD of this one
Osu Türkiye 100k+: lost qualifiers badly, yet again.
Kawaii cup: another case of losing the qualis
PNK: Didn't lose the qualifiers(well, only one team would lose it so this is no big deal), we at least won a match in the losers bracket but forfeited the last match due to stressful circumstances. I care more about people's mental health than tourney pride
Elitiri Cup: case #?? of losing the qualifiers, but the competition was fierce since only top 16 would qualify, so not a big let down
Lilac cup: yet another case of losing the qualifiers, however the team composition was not my choice this time and i'm not good enough to be a carry -_-
Orange's Mini Cup, Feb-March edition: yup. i lost quals again. The quals do be harsh and my skills ever so weak, i shall keep trying tho. Just need to find my way to a less stagnated improvement
OSDL: welostqualifi-WAIT NO WAY!! AFTER ALL THIS TIME A TEAM OF MINE FINALLY PASSED THE QUALIFIERS! NOT ONLY THAT, I HAD A ROLE IN IT, TOO!! I FC'd NM3 and was the best HD player among the team!
Pas De Nom: Passed the qualifiers at 8th seed with my team despite doing worse that day. Won ro32, lost the winners bracket with TB in ro16, won the quarterfinals, and finally lost in semifinals because i wasn't able to analyze my opponents properly. Nevertheless, this was my biggest success yet, thanks ALTERNATORS UNITED!
Entropy's spring tournament: Again, Semifinals, but we could have gotten to finals with a 2 man team! I let my guard down..... Still a success tho
O!LC Battle Royale 200k-299k: Surprisingly got 2nd! And made a new tourney partner
NPC4: Despite some bad team management, we survived till the third round. Not bad though.
Epic Fumo Tournament: Rip my dreams of playing 1v1 tournaments, got 65th, 1 seed away from qualifying.
Frances cup: Currently in losers bracket quarterfinals. Interestingly we were the 10th seed among 16 to qualify among 70+ teams in total.
Osu!Amino Tournament: Currently in Quarterfinals, Winners bracket! (Yay!)
BQT3: Waiting for it to start

I'm not just a pp farmer, I play longer maps too, i just.... choke them, but that drives me to not choke them in the future~! damn, too much farming at june 2nd lol
In another news i can read ar 9.8&10 a little better, which is why i can make HR top plays! Next step: improve low AR reading in dense maps. And accuracy in hard to acc maps

Log that should have been penned at 2020-06-05 but it isn't. I hate lying
I have moved out of the place that had the desktop to a place without a PC. Could have taken the shitty laptop but i decided against it. Now the only way to play would be to visit my grandma which is not that far away from my current home. I have brought the same mouse and mousepad from there, and passed all my osu stuff to a hard drive so i don't have to download everything with an download speed very average(slower than back there). I probably should have downloaded a torrent of ranked and common unranked maps tho
Btw that also means i won't be able to do tourneys anymore, unless they are like one-day tournament or smth. But i will try to finish what i am currently in

Yesterday i got an (almost FC) on tower of heaven while trying to test my basic streaming capabilities on a laptop. This is a score I'm truly glad i made. I want to continue looking for ways to improve finger control, so I'm really in need for finger control maps at 3* and 4*. Having trouble with that.
Also a proper laptop means i could play mania with proper 4 key support that actually has proper graphics processing(tho i have yet to try if it truly supports it, but if the shitty laptop did so should this, which is much better than that)

Today our team officially got eliminated from the All-Kill Tournament. I will not join any mote tournaments where many different ranks/skills of people could join, but it's revolved around a certain difficulty range. I would like to join more tourneys but with my current situation it's nearly impossible unless they are rapid or something. I still have a match left to lose at Ancient Tournament, but i may actually have to forfeit....
After losing i decided to FC A True True Friend [Hard] in DT, previously having a choke on it. And that i did. Its my new top play (Woah, I've been topping off my top plays pretty often these days, huh)
I even increased the acc from 87 to 91, but that is still not an accuracy play, far from it! After some more plays I'll come back to it again to do a higher acc play... (It also breaks my notion of "I don't FC unless it's high acccuracy") This also becomes my first 4* FC, though I'd prefer a no mod FC than a DT one, but at least it was nothing like a farm map
And well, unlike many people i now have a 4* FC before i have a 5* pass
tho i wonder if i actually could pass 5* rn like everyone else did?

Last week (May 30th) is the day i have reached the 1k pp mark.... And within 9 days, i have made a new top play 5 TIMES, with four of them not being a farm map(unless all dt plays are farming), of a few varieties. Hard rock in ar 9.8(although still not that good at sight-reading that, but it's at least more readable for me now), double time(which is a first for me besides that one farm map a long time ago, i really didn't think i would be good at it after seeing myself try it at 3* (after dt) and still failing to FC it.), and even a stacked burst map at a decent accuracy on a freaking laptop (along with the current top play) [I'm starting to think laptop keys are better than office membranes, but maybe i actually gained more speed since last time?]... This has been a great achievement for me, because for four months i would get stuck at #400k, gaining ranks slower and slower. Actually forget ranks, i was gaining actual skills slower too, i even had to get used to aiming again like 3 months ago, but even when i gained some of my aim skills back i still wasn't improving half as fast as i did in my first month(i got to above #600k within that). Until recently... Now i had got my accuracy ability back from the time i was farming with accuracy plays. I don't remember doing anything specific, but maybe i was finally practicing the right way now. I was also getting nice combos again... It would be a great time to continue playing osu! in many ways, be it alone, casual multis or more serious tournaments......

My mom told me that we are visiting aunt's house. This was the moment i have been waiting for. I packed my osu peripherals as usual (which is just a mouse, a mousepad and a hard drive with my osu! installations. Oh and the headphones, but i always have that lol) and went there.
Started with 2* to warm up, but 3* at this point was a little too much tapping wise. Had to adjust aim a few times, but found my usual settings quickly. However i found myself missing where i shouldn't, despite my aim being the same. Looks like this is something i will have to further train then.
Despite this, it only took me a few hours to regain all my skills when i last played. Probably because i have barely any skills lol. I ended up setting the usual scores, one of them being 999x combo on Meikaruza - Hard. Replay coming soon btw. (I'm having my eyes on it, to FC with at least 98% acc, even tho it's not really the most pp play, but skill is skill to me, and i want skill.).
Then I started playing some 4* finger controly maps with a friend, but since it was 4* i wasn't able to gain much accuracy for them, these maps I gained mostly below 80%. Which means i would probably have to tone down the diff a bit when trying to play such maps, however who said finger control is something you train in one day? So my quest continues...
In short i had a blast with this one, osu! is still the most enjoyable game ever for me. I will gladly wait for the grand return...

Another reset, but this does not mean i am gonna play weekly.
Today wasn't particularly special, but i did play finger controly maps with a very scuffed keyboard and mouse (forgot to bring my mousepad so my aim kinda suffered). Finger control practice would be more effective if practiced more often IMO. At least I'm glad to play this again. See you soon

Honestly I'm just gonna make this short. But i have done significant stuff
After practicing many maps, i went to a multi with a friend, continuing to play maps. He put Daddy Daddy Do insane, and he said it's harder than usual maps around that range. I at first didn't believe it, so asked him to put a farm map. Then he put my current fourth top play. Somehow, 301 combo with three misses made 55 pp. (Replay here: https://youtu.be/XFLHfczE60s )Woah. Must be my highest 4* insane pp, i thought.
But that wasn't all. He said he knows a map that's practically free pp and easy to FC and acc. So we played Ai No Sukima.
He was ACTUALLY RIGHT. I got 99.31% accuracy but i sliderbroke the end of the map. And that's how my first 4* no mod FC went out of the window...
(From the future edit: I have overwritten my Ai no Sukima acc play with a higher combo worse acc play. Unforturnate. Could not replicate after many tries. So I will stop trying. But I may come back another time, or try a different difficulty. Or just make new scores. Whatever)
We continued to play non farm maps after. Then i took a break by my grandma's request. So it's to be continued.

I have played some more, especially in multis. And set a few more scores. Here's examples:

Usual stuff, i just want to play tbh. And improve. But also play. I love this game. Replays of notable scores will come later. Played some more both solo and multi, but for now no significant improvement. Usually these things take time, but to me it took way longer. I seem to pick up quickly but take way too long to master. I am not even halfway through mastery of 3*, let alone the entire game.. I am willing to keep trying and playing tho. This will only end when i am no longer enjoying the game
Rant about my play time being misunderstood, archived for nostalgia. Written in 2020-07-16/18
I feel like people misunderstand my play time and my skill. Okay, actually just the play time. Not the skill. My skill can be seen in my top plays i guess. Or maybe not. IDK. I play many different maps.
Time to explain.
In the past I'd play 1-3 hours in average a day with some one day breaks. In my first two months, i have went up to 500k in rank, but now I'm still at 420k range for more than 3 months! I am trying to play as much as i can, but that may or may not be a lot. But seriously, how is 2-3 hours almost everyday (with the exception of last month) doesn't amount to a lot of playtime? The answer is that i fail a lot of maps, sometimes on purpose, on multiplayers. The maps are fail are usually on the pass range of difficulty (which right now is 4*). I fail sometimes on purpose because i need to adjust my mouse sometimes because i failed to adjust it properly beforehand. Other times the maps are difficult for me so i fail. It's now one of the reasons why i Don't want to play for passes, but the real reason is because i thought playing for passes didn't really help me improve as much as playing for FC's, so i mostly focused on my FCable range. And no, i don't play the same maps over and over, infact i often play new maps and i have so many maps, 11k+! So many unplayed and i keep adding maps anyways, more maps are better indeed.
Unless playtime DOES include failed maps. Then i am really hardstuck as to why i am such a late bloomer. But i guess I need to take my time anyways even if it will be 1 or even 2 years just to get out of 6 digit or even just the 400k range....

This is the REAL reason why am i not improving:
Some other things about me:1: focusing too much on negative stuff. It's only gonna make me more negative and burn me out. Better to just enjoy the game and persevere through any bad moments, and focus on what i am doing right. Also stop complaining, and actually gain proper knowledge instead
2: I am not making collections for each map type. If i want to improve on a specific aspect, i need to point out the maps with that aspect in mind.
3: not being open to experiment even if that means losing all my current skills. Sure, i won't be able to aim the same if i hold my mouse straight instead of it being tilted left but if it results in potentially better aim and spins, it's worth all of it.
Also i find that using half time on certain patterns help me, because once i learn how to do that pattern slow, i can do that pattern fast, too.
