My general goal with mapping is to make ranked beatmaps of my favorite songs or songs i want to see in the ranked section and improve with every map i make.
My favorite genres are J-Pop, VOCALOID, Electronic, Anime and Video Game Soundtracks. To better understand what type of music i like and want to map you can look at my favorite beatmaps or my uploaded beatmaps. If you know featured artist songs that are similar to these feel free to tell me!

IMPORTANT! - Switched to tablet, All (or like 99%) of scores from 2021-04-12 to 2023-03-13 are mouse scores (SteelSeries Rival 310 eSports Mouse) and all scores from 2023-03-13 and after are tablet scores (Wacom CTL-4100). All scores from 2020-02-28 to 2021-04-11 where set on laptop with either a mouse i forgot the name of or a tablet i forgot the name of and scores from 2021-04-12 to current times where set on PC. On 2024-11-24 i switched to a new PC with the same peripherals. This probably sounds complicated but i'm very strict when it comes to this information.
I use a ''Razor Huntsman'' keyboard, a ''Wacom CTL-4100'' tablet with these settings and a ''MSI G241'' monitor with 144hz. I always play osu! with the default cursor size, 1920x1080 Resolution, I never pause in game to rest and then continue playing a map (though i may have done it in the past on a very few number of maps) and i never remove the combo numbers, accuracy numbers or remove the combo break sound from skins to get less nervous when playing. Doing these things makes me feel like i'm cheating and even though it is allowed and if i use it, it makes me feel like the score i set is worthless so i'm always going to play without these things. The only things i feel comfortable doing is changing the volume (Music, effect, master), using high fps with a high hz monitor, using different (normal) skins and making practise diffs of difficult sections. I also always hover. I like to play with background videos enabled and background dimmed at 80% but i usually turn it off if im trying to fc a hard map or similar.
Also all my favorite beatmaps are only favorited because of the song, not the map. new beginnings is the only exception as i only favorited it for fun. This absolutely doesn't mean i dont like the map of the songs! I just prefer to favorite a song rather than a map. I have gone through every single ranked & loved beatmap in osu! and the ones i have in my favorites are the ones i like the absolute most. I still have alot more songs/beatmaps i really like but i'm trying to not have too many beatmaps in my favorites. Eventually though with new songs being ranked & loved its gonna fill up.
