Ah yes, my mapping journey.. It's not even that long of a story!
It all started with me discovering VSRGs as a whole by stumbling upon RoBeats back in ~late 2019 to early 2020.
One might say that that's already a great start into experiencing quality charts..
Combine my thousands of hours wasted on Roblox with the VSRG side of me that eventually turned to Mania, you get a 2 star map for a roblox game soundtrack, Ex Nihilo, from Deepwoken: My very first attempt at mapping!
It miiiiight not be the very best map, but hey! It's timed and has notes, therefore I'd say it's playable!
Aaaand it's uploaded with my cursed old username..
That's it for literally two and a half years.
Seriously, not a single audible cricket even.

Hey you know what? Peruvian Dan was really funny.. What if I make a German Dan?
And there I was: going through Spotify, asking friends, looking through Youtube. Literally anything just to find german songs I could see clear patterns in.
Would be funny if I made a dense jack map from this nursery rhyme remix.. Can't really make many mistakes mapping dense jacks right? firetrucks up the timing
Tech Tech Tech.. Maybe I'll be good enough to map tech later on, let's skip that for now. (subtle foreshadowing)
Hey I might not have a single clue how to map speed properly, but placing notes at a certain snapping should work fine right.. bleh.. There's the 0 pattern awareness speed map.

This was the moment I realized how much influence the song choice has on a map being received well..
Oh well, lets just.. Get this over with and finish the Dan already.. Oh yeah tech map. Nevermind. I'll do that later.
Update 9/9/2025: The tech map is still fermenting in my mapping folder with 516 objects placed.
I'll finish it one day.

this person alone taught me so much, it may all have been indirect or unnoticed by them, but the resulting personal growth ive experienced from not only their maps but also simply talking to them is real❤️

ska is a legend
i remember my first run in with my very first ska map, it was so long ago that i was still playing standard and was looking for a certain song but in mania: Louder than steel is what i searched and found
in fact i clearly remember being really annoyed about how "overmapped" and "spammy" it was, since it was at a time where my whole map selection was ranked maps, none of which were dump or even comparably hard since i was also just a noobie... nowadays i look up to the holy peak thats been set free from this one person, and lets just say if i had limited storage for maps on my pc, grape cola 1-3 would be the very first thing thats getting downloaded
that being said i cant put into word the respect i have for having created all these masterpieces even back then, not to mention also going on to map and rank Japanese Soul Brothers and NEURO-CLOUD-9 along with Evening..
and out of the huge selection of wonderfully crafted maps, the song choices dont disappoint either... cough cough... Blue Lagoon.. cough cough.. Me Tengo Que Ir..
