i have to fill this in lolllllllllllllllllll

mapping spreads will make you a much better mapper than gding or getting a ranked map ever will

learning and going through the process on how to make good lower level diffs opens you to mapping sensibilities that can (and absolutely will) translate into whatever diff/mapping project you wanna make (whether or [oftentimes] not its known to you or any other player that looks at your map). the basics of what makes "good" syncopation imo starts at having good foundations on how to map/mod low diffs (and to an extent mapping songs from ""traditional"" rhythm games)

i think mapping a song start to finish OFTENTIMES makes for a more cohesive map than mapping from a part you like and fleshing it out from there bc it allows you to be more "methodical" with whatever ideas youre trying to execute (unless ur very methodical abt mapping in general i.e have sufficient mapping brainrot)

i dont think maps rotating in one direction for an extended period of time (unintentionally) in low diffs is necessarily a bad thing=
