Permission to Use My Maps
You can use my map everywhere!
Just be sure to tell me about where are you using it, it's good to keep informed! (Don't be shy!)
I can assist you if you need to uprate it to a certain rate / make edits on the map.
(Maybe don't pick those old maps from 2023 as I think those map are really bad now lol)

As a Player
Not a great player but I think I'm not that bad lol.
Pro PP farmer.
Played often offline for many reason (I edit tourney maps offline for privacy, and sometimes I just don't want be bothered), true playcount about 60k.
Never perform well in tourneys I participated, not an accuracy player. Being decent in combo, good consistency.
Regular skill is hard gapped luminal v2, can't go better cause of bad stamina and can't play jacks.
I'm more of a LN player now. Nearly passed LN 14th dan (96.95% v2). Density/speedy LNs are great, while lacking a bit at releases (If it's high BPM coords I can actually do well).

Tourney Stuffs
After hosting/managing some tourneys, I think I accumulated a bit knowledge on them. So if you need any help about anything in tourneys, I'd love to help!
Just DM me if you need help/staffs for your tournament on pooling/mapping/testplaying.

Mapping
Honestly, my maps are nowhere near good maps.
I'm in no place of speaking anything about mapping, just doing anything you like!
Keep learning it!
I'll lay my two cents here:
Have plan of what you're going to map / Have idea of what you mapped.

What I'm going to map?
Most maps have these purposes, you have the general pattern idea when you listen to the song.
(Like this music should be mapped into streams/hybrids/LN coords/etc.)
Tourney mapping is the same, you find song that fits the slot you're mapping for.
This don't mean no 'creativity' here, you can map everything you want!
Go over the song you chose again, try get the overall structure of the song, where it repeats, where it's highlighted, where it should be calmed down, etc. Have more detailed plans, this helps.

What I have mapped?
You're not only creating patterns, you're creating the feeling while playing that pattern.
Fancy patterns in editor isn't always good when playing, vise versa.
What important (I think), is the overall playability players get when playing your map. A balanced, flowy experience is always good. That means no spikes, everything fits the music while pattern being reasonable as well. This 'difficulty control' is more important for tourney mapping.
That said, be sure to do constant playtesting. If you don't have the skill for your map, find someone else do it, or you really know what difficulty you mapped.

Modding Queue
Applying for BN is not my priority right now. Though I'd like to improve my skill on modding, so maybe I'll open a formal modding queue someday!
Now you can just sent me maps for a check/playtesting. I'll try to give you either a short reply (general mods), or detailed mods if you want to rank the map you sent me (if I think the map is worth ranked, too).
I don't guarantee any detailed mods. I might be busy either in osu or irl, but I'll make sure you got a feedback!
Oh wait the queue is actually here: community/forums/topics/2064704?n=1

Guest Diff/Collab Requests
Update: 25/Nov/1
Busy with multiple tourneys, halt requests for a while.
Not accepting anything extra until 2026 February. (5 tourneys remaining)
I'm open for GDing/collabing any maps you like. Just ask me about what diff you need and what song is it.
Just make sure the map is going for ranked or planning to do it.
If I have time at the moment, I can make GDs.
Song Choices doesn't matter! (I actually like anime.)

GB Clan
RIP '[GB]V1do' (2022.9 - 2025.2)
I'm sad you clicked it on this timing. I quitted from GB Clan early 2025.
My time during GB is great, meet bunch of players who have the same ambition, and doing great things together. It's truly a platform for the sake of this community, and I'm glad being part of it.
Sadly my skill is limited, as well as extending my skills on the platform. Things are not working as I intended, and it's sometimes painful to think about. So I'm considering my leave.
I'll continue doing community related things, carry on the GB manifestos.
Update: I sent my account name revert email, waiting for name change. (25.2.1)
Update2: Name reverted. (25.2.4)

Community?
I doubt if anyone actually read through my user page till here, if you read it, here's a cookie for you.
Playing osu since 2020, and engaged in domestic/international community since late 2022, I've been involved in this community in countless ways for more than 3 years now.
And here's my gibberish words on it. (No translator used, expect terrible English)

Something Really Long
I set a name of myself way before 2022, where I make video guides for osu! on Bilibili (Chinese equivalent of Youtube). The video was made solely to introduce a game that I like, and somehow those videos got pretty viral (for a osu video), and actually there was a bunch of new players asking me for more specific help.
I was really surprised, delivered all I can to help new players to get in. I would checking my comments frequently to see if there's any one reacted to it, and seeing those who were having fun trying this game, I died in happiness.(There's even some players active from those I helped till this day.)
The feeling was great, the atmosphere was friendly, the loop was giving me amazing positive feedbacks. It was the first time I realized this community thing, and how good it was to contribute to it. Joining GB was for this deed, too. Perfect spot to do so.
And from then, all the way till this day, I experienced in a lot of roles in community, guiding in playing or mapping, hosting tournaments, organizing events, having my own big group chat, solving conflicts, all you can think of. During this few year, I've met countless of different people, been through moments, events or even dramas.
I won't make a long paragraph just to boasting on myself, things went dark from now on.
Community isn't a unity, it's just the entirety of the player base. Everyone have their own thoughts, especially those who have established their own understanding on the game, they have different opinions, and this is where conflict is born.
Everyone think their copy of understanding is right, just like any video games, people think their meta is better. But in a community game like this, the topic isn't just 'meta builds', it's more specific, to either a score, a map or a tournament. But all of those condensed to a simple thing, a player.
I guess you can feel it, a lot of discussing topic lands on a specific person or a group, even it's not started as those individuals. And through this, we adapted this thinking process. Now for the most time, we say it's xxx's map, xxx's score, or a tournament xxx hosting. We use those labeled thinking to make it easier to process, common symptom of internet age. Then, when it comes to conflicts or even dramas, we get this idea more deeply, it's a clash between individuals in the end.
I think you all know what this labeled thinking means. People starts thinking a certain thing, without actually thinking on it, immediately associate it with it's owner or participants.
(Oh it's this vido dude's map, gotta be shit [w/o downloading the map])
Gaming community is like a, real community where there's bunch of IRL communication/relation. People adapt real life methods to it. A huge community on it's own is irresistibly divided into smaller ones, where in each one, players have similar ideology. And if you followed this community for enough time, I think you can get this idea.
When those critical thinking is gone, combining with people around you doing the same, we become purely an emotion projector. I've seen countless people doing this, estimating things without thinking, judging things without prove or evidence.
Through this process, community bleeds. Everyone wants to have a high ground, they want to prove they're right, not through rationally convincing, but either make themselves more 'authority', make the word heavy, not it's content. Everyone wants to be relevant in the community scene, either have a badge, a lot ranked maps, won tourneys or beat some really high dans. I myself ranked a few pp maps, I guess you can hate me over that.
And we forgot what's the topic people having conflict on, it just served as a startle.
I personally see the community as the ultimate core of this game, and I was dreaming of a warm community. I tried for years, being nice to everyone but despite all this I got a lot of haters. Even though the problem I mentioned above only apply to tiny bit of this community, I still doubt if any of my effort would work, maybe it's just some pipe dream.
And I doubted again, maybe I didn't do anything for the sake of community, maybe I'm just watching the mirage of a better myself. Every time I burnt myself on a tournament, spending hours of time despite having a IRL job, I was thinking, 'is this all worth it', or I'm just spending hours to make only myself emotional, while having nothing impact on community?
After first edition of RDC (early 2023), I would say it definitely worth. Two more years from there, I can't give a proper answer, and through the time, my confusion only grows. My devotion is becoming deeper and deeper, while the positive feedback I receive is shrinking. Same to most community contributors I know, people are starting taking their hardwork for granted now.
I actually wanted to write this when I quit from the community, as some of it's content might gets me attacked. But now I understand, haters who just see ME writing this without even thinking on the content, is something I can't communicate with. And I don't even care at this point. Live freely.
Our community is in great dilemma. I hope anyone who have a fair view on it can share their ideas, we need more good people to take action. I hope all contributor's free effort is appreciated. I hope there's less conflicts and dramas but more rational communications. I hope people could lower their prejudices towards each other.
It's just a game that I accidently put a lot of time on, and I don't want it becomes inhabitable.
For now, I guess I'll carry on.
I wrote those while being kinda drunk, so forgive me about it's weak logic and bad wording.
