Beginners Taiko Tournament 7: forfeited at RO32 lol, My first ever taiko tournament. I made it to qualifiers at the 38th seed because I didn't practice pool lol. I won my first match against GeneralOink (cool guy btw). However I fought 6th seed and eventual winner salym and lost 4-5 in a tiebreaker. The reason I forfeited was because I had a lot going on and I didn't wanna play losers bracket LMAO.

Taiko All Rounder Tournament 2 (with cyger(c), Jorixk, DrumManager, DieButterStulle, and Sirek) :Quarterfinals, my first ever taiko tournament, but with friends! Many of the players in my team just came off of BTT 7 so we thought it would be funny to name ourselves butt team. we did not get that far LOL. We got 15th seed, out of 17 teams... and ended up having to fight :smirk_cat:, WHO WAS THE SECOND SEED BTW, so yeah we lost that one but at least we bribed well with the SD pick lol. We fought Schabowy Squad next, and we did try bribing with SD once again but they did not accept the bribe. We placed 14th out of 17 teams based on elimination order so that's surpassing expectations lol.

Midway Taiko Cup 2: Round of 16, My first ever taiko tournament, but NOT as a beginner. What's funny is that I believe I was seed 28 or 30 originally but they didn't count one player so I got bumped to seed 30 lol. My first big boy solo opponent was eventual winner WLYMinato (wow I keep fighting winners). After this I fought makaki(poor guy couldn't speak English, 彼は英語を話すことができなかった。www). Still lost but man I enjoyed the conversation I had with them, 話すのが好きだったんです。(ニホンゴワカラナイ, I cannot speak Japanese).

Taiko Intermediate Lovers Tournament (w/ Kotaro): Semifinals, top 8??, my first ever taiko tournament, but with friend! By far my best performance in a tournament so far, me and Kotaro got to 7th seed, so we were in the upper half of the 14 teams that joined. We lost to gislefoss fangirls (Quiet Water & melancholicc) in the first round and beat (BSM)Burundi (cyger & Chimchar) due to me being the only person showing up lol. Sadly we got out the same way burundi got out, kind of, all of SilverMouse (YonGin & plush seal) showed up but sadly Kotaro couldn't make it due to some reasons (can't blame her) so we ended up forfeiting as a result. Kinda sucks since I learned HR for that pool but you can't change the past.

Catch Academy: I didn't even qualify lmao, my first ever taiko tournament, but wait it's catch. This will be a short listing since I really don't have anything to say about my experiences. I trained for this tournament but I couldn't even do 3 star maps properly if I was gonna be honest. And you won't believe what the qual star rating was 🤯. I got 80th seed out of 90+ so hey, I wasn't the worst. Also shout out to bvyans, bro's a goat.

Rising Global Taiko Showdown(w/ -Birds-, Euanofthedead, Asa Kazato, & AshelliaKawaii): Group Stages. My first ever tournament, but under the GTS brand. I personally think we could have gotten a higher seed but we just kept on choking TwT. We got seed 18, which is considered worse than last year, but last year's players were beasts (they got 6th D:). So to list our matches in Group Stages, we lost 0-5 against South Korea, won 5-3 against the Czech Republic, and lost 3-5 against Chile, leaving us with a 1-2 record. (ggs btw). I'd also like to shout out my whole team, I know everyone didn't get equal chances to shine, but those guys are the reason we got to where we got (big shoutout to Euan, the HDHR goat).

corsix (w/ inseyy, ___Vale___, ashdudty, ArXe, MeNoWjbu, and presla): Did Not Qualify., my first ever taiko tournament, but I'm playing standard. To be fair I don't really play standard so I expected this but I do feel kinda bad for my teammates who probably worked hard to play. Also the tournament kinda sucked imo. Like, the hosts are trying their best but everything about that tournament felt incomplete. Might be just me though.

Squad Global Taiko Showdown(w/ GooxManr1, EdibleTofu,
Taikore, Batu, and kloofhi): RO16. My first ever taiko tournament, but no it's not :3. Knowing that I'm not going to win this tournament anytime soon, I decided to play with some lower rank players so that they have some more experience of playing tournaments. With the players that I was able to find we decided on calling ourselves "The noobs :3". By squeaking by and qualifying 30th seed, our prize is fighting 真 Majimanjiwwwww fanboy (3rd seed 😭). So we lost and fought You plinko (captain is the originator of "The noob"). And so we were eliminated, but I will never forget the noobing and efforts we did to have fun.

MTC Blitz 2 (w/ Euanofthedead):Semis(tied 7th place! I learned we did not get 6th but oh well). My first ever taiko tournament, but in blitz style. Euan and I did not expect to get this far tbh, but we are still proud to place this high (despite having 2 WBD's). We were known as RGTS Philippines A 🇨🇱🇨🇿🇺🇸 (based very much off of AGTS France A). I would also like to once again shout out Euan and his efforts and skill. As well as being a consistent teammate of mine, Euan has always been a nice teammate and his skill in mods are so diverse that he can take risks to do HDHR on FM. I would not have done as well without him.

Global Malaysian Taiko Showdown(with [profille=10875855]Bedwyr Aorta[/profile]): Quarterfinals. My first ever taiko tournament, but under osu!taiko Malaysia (I am not Malaysian). Bedwyr is a cool teammate and I'm really glad I actually found someone to play this actually insane tourney with. I just asked random players and Bedwyr was the first to say yes, so thank you Bedwyr 🙇.

Advanced Global Taiko showdown(with Fynbi, Mochii_31, and Taikore): DNQ This one stings the most to me because this was a tournament that I was genuinely interested in participating in. Not qualifying sucks but it was okay because I at least had fun. I wish Fynbi could have made it for quals but things happen I guess

Taiko All Rounder Tournament 3.5 (with NaNaHiDa): I BELIEVE QUALS IDK FORGOR. You are starting to notice that I am putting less thought and feelings into these listings, and that's mostly because I am writing this in a point where I feel like I am in my lowest in this game and am losing more and more interest/. But this is my first tournament with NaNaHiDa, I always enjoy playing with NaNaHida because we can carry each other and because we're just good friends.

Taiko LMS 3(with MrrMiller, Quiet Water, mikuhatsunegirl10, Wanijimaru, and Deli): LOSER'S ROUND 1. You know, up to this point this was probably the most stacked team I have ever been apart in strength wise. Miller was high rank, Mist, miku, and deli are all exceptionally talented tournament players, and me and Disturbia were cheering on our teammates because we are both skill capped (me more than disturbia ngl). It was a fun tournament and I'm glad I took part in it.

Nanahira Taiko Cup 2 (w/ NaNaHiDa and Chupalika): LOSERS FINALS MATCH 1, 5TH PLACE!!. My first trios taiko tournament (I believe??)and it's with my good friend NaNaHiDa and soon to be good friend Chupalika. I had fun playing this tournament (even if I was a filler player). And I got 5th place, my highest placement in a tourney so far, yay!! . I'm glad I lost to tb instead of some big sweep like we expected it to be lol.

osu!taiko PH Nationals 2023: LOSERS SEMIS. I lost, 5th place, simple. I wanna redo this page because it made it seem like I left in a really distasteful manner. I apologize to everyone for leaving so abruptly, my mental was at an all time low and I did not know how to properly manage my emotions. I'd like to move on as me and cub are good friends now, and hopefully I get to play many more tournaments whenever it's possible.
Advanced Global Taiko Showdown 2025 (w/ vien, Krishel17, and Syni-): GROUP STAGE:. Honestly, this tournament has been an absolute thrill to be a part of. I captain the Philippines B Team and we all did our best. Sadly, we only got to the group stage as we lost the tiebreaker to move on to the runoff bracket, buit I cannot thank my team enough for all of their efforts to fight and do their best throughout the duration that we were all competing.
PH Nationals Taiko 2025: Finals Stage, 5th Place. Honestly, I'm surprised I even made it this far lol. This was the first open rank taiko tournament for the Philippines, and somehow I managed to get the 3rd seed in quals lol. Obviously I got skillcapped and lost when it got too hard for me, but I was the highest placing 4 digit in that tournament, so that's something lol.

South East Asian Taiko Championship 2: Quarterfinals. After my decent PHNT performance, I actually felt quite confident that I would do better than the last time I played in SEATC, which I was right about. I got 15th seed in qualifiers, which helped me skip the Ro48, but I lost to rrapido in an upset lol. I did well in losers until I lost to Eyenine, and honestly, no way could I beat him lol.

Kiai Cup: 2ND PLACE!!!!. My highest placement in a tournament ever, and I owe it all to my team for all working together to even get to this point lol. I'd like to thank Euanofthedead, one of my most played with teammates, for being a great help for HDHR on FM and being our sleeper player, Inkcovenze and wwowie for being the HR carries that they are, and especially to Kulalaying and qish for basically being the late game carries. Because all of us did what we did best, we were able to place this high, and I'm forever grateful to everyone. I even got a cool banner for it too, look:
1. Taiko World Cup 2026: ROUND OF 16. This is probably the highest skill tournament I've ever been a part of. It's a miracle I even made the team in the first place lol, but I'm super grateful and honored that I was recognized as someone capable of representing the country, even if we didn't last long lol. I'd say I did a decent performance, I did a lot in groups, even if we didn't win a single match hahaha. Would I do it again? Hopefully, but I would need to make the roster next year lol.
