4/14/21 The beginning of the journey, I struggle to alternate even on futsuu
4/16/21 I'm learning patterns now, but alting is still make my brain hurt
4/17/21 I can clear sub 140bpm onis, about 3.5 stars, just dont look at the accuracy and miss count lol
4/25/21 180bpm 4 star is doable now, I alternate every drum hit now pretty much naturally, and all 3 hits patterns are memorized, both hand.
4/26/21 I don't know what happened, but it's no longer painful to play. I actually enjoy taiko full alt. also first 4.5 star pass.
5/1/21 I can reliably pass 4.5 stars now. Not gonna lie when you get it it really feels like autoplay. I still have to work on consistency as I still need to concentrate a lot to not stupidly break my combo.
5/9/21 I finally came back from vacations, and it feels good to play on 144hz again. I can now 95% some 4.5 stars if patterns are not too dense. Also I have trouble doing multiple kkd in a row, somehow dont have any issue with ddk.
5/11/21 I passed some 5* and I feel happy. Improvement seems to pick up steam at this point.
5/15/21 Passed some 5.70* map, feeling good. I need to work on streams now.
5/29/21 While learning streams I realized that I had a lot of bias when starting patterns, I need to fix this to make my execution more fluid. It's not too frustrating but unlearning is hard.
6/19/2021 I'm finally back after a short break. I kept playing despite my exams and this was not a good idea. The stress added to the frustration of not being able to play some patterns with my left hand despite rigorous practice so I elected to take a break to let my body "reset" and it was effective !
7/3/21 I can pass some of my top scores now, but I'm nowhere near the level of consistency I had before the switch. I make many dumb mistakes and 1/6 notes are still hell but progress is steady.
12/4/21 It's been a long time since my last update. I am currently able to enjoy the game at almost the same level as when I played ddkk. Regarding streaming, unfortunately I still suck. However, regarding speed I improver a lot. I can now play 270-280 bpm songs relatively comfortably and my stamina is a whole order of magnitude better than in the past. I used to struggle on "slow" 260bpm maps and now I can stream 270. If it weren't for me being depressed right now life would be good lol.
