Hardware:

Graphics tablet - unlike popular belief, it is mostly personal preference and wont make you instantly improve, it will take a few weeks to get used to
Grip tape - if you find your grip on your pen slipping often i recommend getting yonex AC102EX grip tape, its a rubbery tape you wrap around your pen that makes your fingers stick to it
Rapid trigger - highly recommended feature found in newer keyboards, lets you tap faster thanks to it having a dynamic actuation point
High refresh rate monitors - 144hz is comfortably enough to be able to read ar11 but if you truly want a slight edge on high AR 240hz or 360hz can be beneficial, going above it wont make a significant difference

bpm - beats per minute, how fast the map is rhythmically
raw aim - ability to aim low bpm high spacing aim
aim speed - ability to aim high bpm aim
flow aim - ability to aim streams which get their difficulty from the spacing
stamina - ability to play streams that drain your tapping stamina either by their finger control or length combined with a higher bpm
speed - ability to play streams that get their difficulty from their high bpm
tech - a wide label for maps that challenge your technical abilities like slider aim, finger control, aim control, reading
alt - maps that challenge your aim control, aim speed and finger control, formed of stream-like patterns that you instead treat like small fast jumps
finger control - ability to play patterns that challenge your ability to tap uncomfortable tapping patterns
aim control - ability to play patterns that challenge your ability to aim uncomfortable aim patterns
reading - ability to play maps that challenge your ability to comprehend what you see on your screen, mostly by low AR or overlapping patterns
precision - ability to play maps at a circle size of 6.5 or higher
consistency - ability to consistently full combo maps within your skill range, also used to describe consistent performances on maps and maps that are long and demand generic aim and streaming abilities
tapping technique - how refined the way you physically tap your keys is, everyones technique is different and you shouldnt copy anyones, it develops overtime and you usually wont have to consciously do anything about it, playing very low bpm stream maps helps define it faster

Miscellaneous:

Beatmap packs starting from the very first one are great for reading practice
You can play tournaments sooner than you think, 6 digit tournaments aren't a rare occurance you can search for tournaments here
