It is been 15 years of osu! (20 December 2011). Back then when I was a youngster (12 years old) the spark of rhythm game got stronger with this game. Never thought that it grows to another level until I 'graduated' from my Masters degree. Growing up with the genre I loved leaves a colorful experience in my life and I will cherish it forever. I keep returning to osu! in my spare time after my daily activities and other rhythm game grinds so I think the thoughts of quitting never crossed on my mind, but responsibilities and time constraints really took a toll on me (I can't really participate in tournaments anymore since I keep hanging out with friends and the weekends). On the date of this writing, I tried to be active again by playing my old collections of maps and try to set a leaderboard record on it, take it as an "achievement" for my past self.
