it'd be best if i put my 3-ish years of non-stop linguistic grinding to good use, so that's why i wanted to embark on visual novels. it's not going so well though mainly by virtue of the lack of motivation. even though every story is infinitely more colourful than mine, and even though i'd like to hold for myself some of that freedom in my palms; it seems impossible, but i want to at least understand Subarashiki Hibi before anything transitions to worse, realise this same indirect admiration or obsession i had with james joyce's works (not that i got to that, either, finding this more important). it was to the extent of swearing the study of all the language, not to mention the philosophy without prior experience. again it seems impossible and maybe unfitting, but at the point of discovering that work i thought maybe it would end this intertitle of my life. one's self-directed context is important after all.
