I met osu! In 2021, earlier that year I used Instagram, so on a normal day like any other I saw a reel (or video) of a level of osu!standard, specifically it was a level (edit I think) of the anime Himouto! Umaru-Chan with the song "Yabure Kabure/Nyanpasu"
(or basically this video that I found by chance on YouTube, but this was the same one I saw on Instagram at that time)
And thanks to that video, not only did I get to know the anime (very good anime and unnecessary but curious fact, it is my second favorite anime) but I also decided to learn more about osu! and start playing it
Also, since I was starting to play more rhythm games, I decided to try osu!, like everyone else, at first I played the standard one, but in the end, thanks to a youtuber I used to watch a lot called CompotaHyperLOLXD, he inspired me to play mania mode and see how far I could go
Fun fact: Yeah I'm a Friday Night Funkin player, or well a former player. In 2021-2022 I was pretty good at that game (and in fact I still am), but because my laptop was exploding with mods (and especially the VSCamellia, VSQT, etc...), I switched to osu! to take my skills to the next level!
Maybe when I have a better laptop or PC in the future I'll be able to enjoy FNF again, but for now I'll stick with osu! until life allows it ^—^
(I think I started playing taiko mode in 2023, I THINK IDK SORRY)
So yeah, that's my story of how I met osu! :]
I don't have goals in osu! that I want to achieve, I've completed most of my goals but who knows, maybe one day I'll be able to beat my nemesis, reaching the global 4K top 1000, or maybe even more
But for now, if one day for one reason or another I have to retire, I feel more than satisfied with what I've achieved here <'3
For now I'm trying to improve my LN's skills (and well, not only that, but also improve other skills like jacks, speed, etc...) so I can get through some difficult maps with that section :]

I play with bar skin in mania
DFKL for 4k and DFKLÑ for 5k
I switch to circles in mania and my skills will plummet (I'll play terribly badly)
I also play KKDD (ASLÑ) in taiko
(yeah, you already know how I suffer when a section of streams appears... but I will improve over time!! ^—^)

I don't take osu! as something serious (and I don't plan to be top 1 in my country or in osu!mania/taiko for now either), I just want to have fun and getting better and better at mania and taiko to be able to win beatmaps that I always wanted to win
I don't have much advice to give you, just have fun and take breaks when you need it, overloading on one thing makes you regress mentally, so it's best to relax for a while before wanting to throw your computer out the window
Also you never give up, no matter how difficult the challenge is, learn to never give up and you will go very far even if it takes time, trust yourself, you are doing it right no matter what, just keep going :]
Don't let some bad comments ruin your path and/or future at osu!. Do you want to be better even if you are not good for now? Go for it!!!, ignore the bad things and move on! At the end of your journey you will have met and will meet wonderful people

As I said at the beginning, I also like Flood Escape 2, a parkour game on Roblox. Although I'm not playing it as much as I used to right now, I still love that game, not only for the challenging maps and the amazing songs it has, and also because it was part of my childhood, but also because of the community (specifically the artist community since everything else is toxic lol) that I'm still part of and that helped me grow a bit, helping with my artistic style and meeting a lot of people (among them the person who gave me support ^^)
So despite everything, I'll love the game forever (although not as present, but I haven't completely abandoned it)
Maybe I won't win my favorite Crazy+ YET (Sub-Zerosphere), but hey, I won Overdrive, and I LOVE OVERDRIVE, OVERDRIVE MY BELOVED!!!!!

Before December 2024, I was playing with the default skin forever, until they told me that if I wanted to improve, I had to change my skin. So I did, and wow, I can finally see the LN properly!!!

I probably won't text you much either, sorry! (I'm very antisocial and introverted, but I also love my solitude, so I'm fine with that)
I want to go as far as possible since, osu! is my favorite game, I don't want to generate any expectations for anyone, I don't want competition, I just want to have fun and have a good time, play and listen to my favorite songs, and be happy even if I have bad days or whatever, so I always keep a positive attitude even if in x song I get 999 perfect and 1 good ^^
