mappooling
I love mappooling, I've been pooling on and off for about 5 years but just making into the international scene recently
here are some of the pools that i've worked for: lga25, otst4 ~ otst:live!, ttt4 & 4.5, and the rollpan trilogy (eac, apac, ojc) (also this)

rate change principles
1. no bs number (0.05x scaling default)
2. if rate down, the mp3 must be stretched in high quality
3. use rate change to broaden the selection pool, not as a lazy solution to problematic picks (tldr only rate change aura farm)
4. manual rate change could only appear in the dt pool (reserving mod gimmick)
4-2. aspen and fceazy's pack are exceptions
selection quality POWER LEVEL Guide
- gameplay: individual map's playability/playing flow/diff distribution etc...
- balancing: the interaction of this map with the mappool's balancing model
- aura: sentimental value/song choice/freshness etc..
trap picks: aura 100, gameplay 0
tourney slop: balancing 100, aura 0
adjacent skillset maps would be grouped for balancing score evaluation, for example if nm1/dt1 are having major overlaps, they both -50 (etc...)
how to kill slot pooling
- map choice leads the structure (you should always be pooling around the good picks)
