test
I don't have much to say. I'm not a remarkable player or anything, so you probably stumbled upon my account by chance.
Since December 2022, I have been diagnosed with De Quervain's Tenosynovitis of my left hand. There were varying causes and it couldn't be solely attributed to me pressing my keyboard a little too fast. Unfortunately, I didn't take care of myself enough and the condition became chronic. It wasn't until around December 2025 that I could play 4 key wrist-down at my current skill level without experiencing pain.
So I kept playing despite my thumb pretty much locking in place, and hurting all over. This was a huge mistake. As I kept playing under those conditions, the condition slowly worsened and became chronic. I wasn't patient enough to cut of a few months of osu!mania, I wanted to stim out on those juicy circles coming in 4 lanes. Despite chugging copious amounts of Ibuprofen, submerging my hand in near boiling-hot water, spraying the strongest NSAID drug on my hand, It wasn't enough AT ALL. also maybe those volleyball games made it worse too... hmm...
At the time of writing this, the conditions thankfully have settled down. I assume that because I could play physically demanding 7K maps without the symptoms occuring.
Please take care of yourself.
