Gamemode/personal game history:

Played standard with highschool friends from 2021-2023 before switching to catch after the goat SeagullBob set a 271pp play on shiori and made me want to try gain ranks on a different mode. Played both for a little bit, before dropping standard altogether around the end of 2023.

I've played catch seriously ever since around May of 2023, where I originally went for completion but gave up after setting a D rank on every map got boring. Started off farming EZ/EZDT, moved to HT, and then some NM, but returning fully back to EZDT around the start of 2025.

During 2025, I mostly gave up on pushing high AR limits as it made the game more frustrating - and nowadays 95% of what I play is EZDT. One day I want to push high AR limits again for tournament play but for now I wanna stick to what I love especially since I know I'm nowhere near the EZDT skill limit yet.

Other interests:

Alongside osu! I also play Honkai Star Rail, Stardew Valley and Minecraft - and played Genshin for 3 years so still watch YT content and stuff even tho I've quit

I don't watch many shows since I prefer games but favourite animes are Jojos, Cowboy Bebop, Fate, Vinland Saga and Your lie in April

I'm writing this as the rework has gotten its last (supposed) update in May 2026, and wanted to yap about it a bit here to look back on whether it gets pushed to live or not.

Since it dropped around November 2025, I've hit some of my highest motivation levels and playtime just because of how excited I am for EZ to finally be worth something for the effort it takes, even if over the updates it has gotten nerfs. As of now, some of my 900s feel a little overweight, however, I might just have to accept that these will be the "farm maps" of rework, and should push for more impressive scores that should be worth the values they give. I love seeing top players like Zelepha and Crystallize get the 1ks and pp that they deserve for their skill, and hope that EZ overall will not be looked down upon or have its achievements diminished if this rework ever does go live, because the scores these guys set are genuinely insane.
