sometimes i get really interested in a qualified map, either it's a banger song or chart
so i download it immediately and play every diff of it with goofy fun mods xdd
please don't take those plays seriously LOL (they are so ass, and are sightread too)
i always play them on my laptop keyboard while vibing dancing to the song, enjoying game

Origins

my first contact with rhythm games was in 2014~2015
i was 6-ish years old at the time and only got to play flash games under supervision
i got to know about this cool flash game called "Flash Flash Revolution", or FFR for short, through a youtube video
so i tried it out and got really hooked onto it for 4 months, before injuring my hand playing football (or soccer in freedom terms) and then never touching the game again

in mid/late 2021, i saw yet another youtube video about someone playing BMS/IIdx and got really interested
so i searched up "how to play 7 keys" (<-- exact wording btw), and an osu video came up as the first one
i think the video was the first video in totaku's "learning 7k" series

i main 7k but play every keymode that can be possible with two hands (been playing more 10k lately)

Interlude advertisement since i love it so damn much

i play interlude more often than i play mania on osu, like its a good 3:2 ratio of Interlude:osu.
so here is my effort to convince you (yes, YOU) as to why Interlude is worth trying out:

you can learn more about it, download it, and join the super awesome community over here
it's super easy to set up; you can link your osu beatmap folder to it, even import AND edit your skins easily in-game
it runs smoother than even stable does and has multiple useful features that are NOT in osu
it's a VSRG only client ---> and it is still under development!
you can easily report bugs and even request features in it's discord server, plus, if you have any questions you can always ask them over there

if this didn't convince you, then watch Synix's video on it, he does an awesome job at explaining things

but ultimately, a person just has to have fun along their journey to make everything worth it

my playstyle is mostly to hold dash and not tap dash
tap dashing for too long depletes my stamina more than anything else
because i use my left thumb to dash

but i mainly alternate
i tend to use both my tablet and mouse:
i farm and play high sr with tablet
and play with mouse when i'm too lazy to connect my tablet to my system (happens 70% of the time)
i unironically have better consistency, acc and confidence with mouse because of my sheer laziness XD
i have now switched to mouse permanently
too lazy to connect my tablet every damn time i wanna play this stupid godforsaken game

have fun
as long as you're having fun, you're winning, and you're happy
lazer is (very) slowly getting better... but i've still got too many gripes about it to switch over.
if anyone wants to know my struggles with lazer that badly, just pm me about it, i (probably) wont bite.
community is awesome here
i'm only ever active in the mania community so i can't talk for other gamemodes
