I'm writing this statement to address the ongoing misinformation, exclusion and harassment campaigns directed toward my fiance within the community. Over the past several months they've faced public call-outs, a tournament ban, exclusion from tournament staffing and community servers based on one-sided narratives, all without getting an opportunity to clear their name.

Most of the misinformation came from a google doc written by their ex after a personal falling out. It should have been a document about their issues hosting a tournament together, instead it was about their relationship, which should have been private.

Regarding the tournament: they hosted a tournament together, with the ex being the main host. Without getting into detail, after the falling out, what ended up happening was him sabotaging the tournament and leaving my fiance to finish the work, handle the prize and close out the tournament. Meanwhile the ex, through spite, decided to do anything to debadge the tournament and get both of them tournament hosting banned.

Regarding the rest of the document: understand that in relationships both people open themselves up to great amounts of hurt. It doesn't matter who hurt more, all pain is valid, however people don't realize this when reading a one-sided document. Instead they see one perspective, pick a side and only support them. I'm not going to mention the rest of the document, as that part shouldn't have been made public in the first place.

Another situation that majorly hurt them happened on the global catch server. The server used to not enforce their rules, but over time the mod team expanded and they actually started handing out warnings, timeouts and eventually bans. Somebody spread a rumor that my fiance was behind each of the bans and that they were unjust, saying they couldn't control their emotions or take a joke. Apparently the person knew about the previously mentioned document and thought it was unfair that such a "toxic" individual could be mod, not understanding how my fiance moved on, grew as a person and wasn't even behind those bans. After that my fiance would randomly get harassed on the global server, more people would spread the one-sided document and some would even get them excluded from a discord server, without them even getting the opportunity to know why. The document also impacted them when they wanted to staff in 3CWC, which they have been denied the chance at casting without ever learning the reason why. One can only guess that some person spread the rumor that my fiance is "problematic" and it's just unfair. They shouldn't be excluded from the community like this.

Without going into personal information, my fiance is extremely vulnerable and doesn't have access to enough support or professional care that they need in their own country. As much as I want to be there for them, there's only so much I can do in a long distance relationship. It's extremely frustrating to see them hurt for months and be powerless against this one document, with the community they loved turning their back to them.

To all the people that read all this, please let's support each member of the community and give everyone an equal chance. Don't blindly follow what you heard somebody say. Don't trust in the gossip. Let people move on and forgive those that deserve it.
