Mapset must be completed

If you request a map for MPG priority quest, or normal quest expiring soon, it will be given top priority bypassing others in the queue.

I do not take requests sent through game chat or Discord DM (except for MPG stuffs). Instead please ping me in TCD server or mania mapping hub server (and I should know you well enough). For communication regarding modding your map, or notifying when 1st is done, can use game chat and DM

For 6K+ modes I may not be able to check if there's lots of LN coordination (I suck at it in high keymodes)

Very big chance if you're a mapper with no ranked currently, and map is clean enough

Let's say you're a new mapper, having posted your very first map, or maybe several already for fun, or even none yet. If you're here reading my words, chances are that you were introduced by someone else to the people called "Beatmap Nominator". You read their profile, and completely got lost because you don't even know what they write. Requires decent modding? Needs 5 hypes? Trello link? What even are they??? Fear not, I'll provide you with useful resources on how to get your sweet first ever ranked beatmap


Before you look for a nomination, be sure that your map is ready for it, usually by getting enough help from other modders. Take some words from Rivals_7's document:

As a mapper, be sure to:

- Know how to see if your map is ready to be nominated (Read rules, ranking criteria, etc)
- Know how your map is already of a satisfying quality (Modding, testplays, and self-testplays)
- Recognize the fundamental basics of the mapsets (layering, concept, pattern usage, spreads, etc)
If you don't know what some of the words here mean, there is a high chance that you are not ready to get a nomination at all.


Be mindful of nominators:

- Make sure to leave as few issues as possible to make the job faster and easier
- Pay attention to their preferences of what kind of mapset they want to nominate
- No "rush jobs". Everyone has their own pace and businesses.

Done reading? Time to come back to what BNs write on their profiles.
- Every BN often writes the minimum of these: status, queue rules, their preferences, a link to submit your request, and a Trello link
- Head away if their status is set to "CLOSED", that means they won't accept anything at the moment, you'll either get rejected straight away, or see the submitting link not working
- Read their rules and preferences to see what kind of map or song they want to take. This can help you get a higher chance of being accepted
- The submitting link is usually Google Form. If you can't access Google services, consider either investing in a VPN, or directly contacting the BN via game chat
- Trello is a way for BN to organize the requests they receive into various categories, like pending, accepted, rejected, nominated, etc. Usually it's set to read-only so you can't edit anything, but on several boards you may be allowed to put comments on the requests
- You requested and got rejected? Don't be so sad, there are tens of BNs out there for you to request, eventually you might hit one
- You got accepted? Congratulations! But before you can get your map to ranked, BNs will have to mod your map, pretty much like normal modders, but their mods will be more in-depth to ensure that the map is of the best possible quality before they can allow your map to reach ranked by "nominating" it, and you need 2 nominations on every map so you will have to get accepted by 2 BNs (again don't be afraid as your chance of getting a 2nd BN is significantly higher than getting the 1st)
