osu!Songs Extractor is a compact Windows application that automatically extracts .mp3 files from your osu! beatmap collection and saves them into a clean, organized folder on your desktop.

scans your osu! Songs folder
finds every usable audio.mp3 file from your beatmaps
renames them neatly (keeps important tags like (TV Size), (Remix), etc.)
skips broken or duplicate entries
shows live progress and timing in the terminal window
every 50 songs: tells you how fast it’s going, flexes a little

download the .exe file (no installation needed)
double-click it
it'll open a terminal window and start working instantly
watch the magic happen
songs get extracted into a folder on your desktop named osusongs2
profit
open the folder, vibe to your freshly freed mp3s

🧼 auto-cleans song names
🔁 avoids duplicates
🧠 keeps useful tags like (Instrumental) or (Full Ver.)
⏱️ tracks how long each song (and batch) takes
📍 asks for your osu! folder path if it's not in the default location

🛠️ troubleshooting
osu! not found? if it’s not in the default path (C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local\osu!\Songs), the program will politely ask where it is
window closes instantly? run the .exe from a terminal so you can see errors
slow processing? blame your 47,000 beatmaps and mechanical HDD
