About Me
Hello! I go by Sky online. My personality is INFP-T. I am a shut-in (not much to do in my area) so I spend a lot of my time online doomscrolling social media or playing videogames lmao. I love music and art
I accept any kind of DM, but I am a full-time college student so I may be busy sometimes. I always mutual if you'd like to, I also check Mutualify to add you back if you're afraid to ask in DMs, but be sure to sign in on Mutualify so I can see. Remember to take care of yourself and stay hydrated! You matter a whole lot !

My Journey
I started playing VSRG (Vertical-Scrolling Rhythm Games) In December 2020 with RoBeats because of a Roblox community event called RB Battles (Roblox Battles). One of the secret items from RB Battles were in RoBeats and as a Roblox Event Collector/Hunter at the time, I desperately wanted the item. It was very difficult for me to obtain it and players that had literally just joined for the first time were better than me no matter how hard I tried. I had known of osu!mania's existence since 2017 from a friend I met in elementary school who played RoBeats at the time as well, and the famous Made of Fire emo kid destroying his room video, those were my first times seeing rhythm games. Because I was introduced to VSRG with such difficult songs on RoBeats, my initial thought was that every rhythm game player was just simply inhuman, but I really just had a major skill issue.
I don't really consider my journey fully started until April 2021 though, when I saw my favorite Loomian Legacy (Creature Catching game on Roblox) youtuber OminousNebula play Funky Friday. I made it my goal to get better than him and play Ballistic on the favorable side to defeat him because of my ego in the Loomian Legacy space. What I never realized was just how fun rhythm games could actually be, I also discovered many people I knew were actually decent at rhythm games the whole time. I got pretty good pretty fast at Funky Friday, I could retain a 100% on a lot of maps, but because of the lack of song selections, I eventually caved to take my skills to new heights by playing osu!mania.
Fast forward to Late-April 2022, I finally decided to give osu!mania a try after having been asked to try it by multiple friends. My progression was mostly carried from my skills on Funky Friday, I reached 4 digit in only 60 days. Everyone in my friend group didn't like how fast I was progressing and honestly seeing how I spam-DM'ed them my scores every day I can see why, it wasn't fun to be my friend because you would just see me send like 10 pictures of me passing planet shaper or galaxy collapse lol. At around rank 8,000 in mid-July, I found osu!mania just not to be as interesting anymore, especially having to play with my parents around because I held a suspicion they didn't like the anime backgrounds; I used to play in the office room so that's when I just went back to Funky Friday since it were easier to explain.
From August 2022 - July 2023, nothing in particular got me back into playing, that is until I saw that Fallen Symphony was getting ranked on osu!mania. I made it my "ultimate goal" to hp pass the map on nomod because I was obsessed with the Funky Friday version. I also saw Bojii's Gamma Dan PFC on YouTube on 7/27/23 which was also around the time I discovered dans. This score in particular literally got me playing again 24/7.
July and August 2023 was the start of something new for me. I found Sujak's Pinkcircles663 skin which I still use to this day and I started grinding again. I was very rusty, but I was not only just playing rice. I was alternating between longnote as well, but I'm honestly not very good at LNs. I would say it takes me a lot longer than the average player to progress on LNs. Even today I struggle, but that's also because I personally I find LN to be boring to play, even when I was somewhat decent at it.
November 2023 - I cleared my first dan (Alpha) at a 97.17% with an overwhelming advantage on the Jacks and Tech portion. This helped me figure out what skillsets I'm naturally good at. I also cleared Beta Dan in December completely out of nowhere and I never provided a liveplay.
Throughout 2024, I bought a Wooting 60HE and I skipped luminal to clear Gamma Dan and Tachyon v3. I also finally passed nomod Fallen Symphony like I said I would, but this left me in a state where I didn't know what to do next. I stopped maining Longnotes from this point on and I played more on osu!lazer. I didn't really do anything notable for the 2nd half of 2024.
In January and February of 2025, I dedicated the whole month to playing Delta Dan and similar maps. I was getting consistent, and honestly really the only time I saw myself being consistent at a dense-level like this on osu!mania. I mainly play Roblox, not osu! that much. I took one day to come back to stable after using lazer for 7 months and I cleared Delta Dan on a random school night when I should've been sleeping. I was astonished, I thought I was dreaming and I barely slept that night because I was celebrating.
On December 2025, I tried my hardest to get 3-digit and clear Epsilon Dan. I've had my struggles, but I was less harsh on myself which has kept me on the ground running. I pushed through my limits and started playing longnote again and even hp passed Kikai no Tsubasa nomod despite getting an 89% on halftime in September.
On January 2026, nothing of interest really happened, I was in a pretty stressful event in my life, and I ended up moving cities for the first time in my life. I'm rusty now but I won't let that stop me from someday clearing Epsilon Dan...hopefully.
I don't necessarily see myself becoming a top player or going past Epsilon Dan clear just because I don't find rhythm games as interesting to me anymore, but my final goals are encouraging from how absurd they sound.
2022/2023-me would have never thought I'd get to the level I'm at now, let alone even clear Beta Dan. I'm really thankful for the opportunity I have especially because I can be pretty harsh on myself and I don't really have a social life... On that note, Thanks for reading! I hope you're having a great 2026
