Hi, I’m zewinxz. Since I was a kid, I’ve always liked rhythm games and quickly got into them. I started playing Guitar Hero using a drum kit (I honestly don’t know why I did that). After that, I played StepMania; if I remember correctly, a friend of mine had one of those machines and I used to spend a lot of time playing there. Later on, I decided to play it on PC, although I didn’t enjoy it that much.I stopped playing rhythm games for a while and focused on FPS games when I was younger. Back then, I had friends (not anymore IRL).I came back on September 28, 2022, when I installed osu! thanks to a content creator I used to watch. I started with osu!standard and later tried osu!mania. I really enjoyed it and set myself the goal of reaching top 50k before Christmas — and I made it.After that, I started playing harder maps and kept improving over time. My skill was limited for a while because I was using a membrane keyboard, which couldn’t keep up with multiple key presses. Even so, I managed to reach top 10k (4 digits) fairly quickly.Later on, I bought a mechanical keyboard, but by then I wasn’t very active in osu!mania anymore. I drifted away and started playing mobile rhythm games instead, since my injury got worse and I couldn’t play as often.During that period, I played Project Sekai, Bandori, and other rhythm games. I came back again and tried to focus on improving my skill, but it didn’t last long because I got injured again and was told to stop playing. I quit for several months and later returned playing 7K / 6K / 5K.I enjoy playing with more keys since it doesn’t feel as heavy as 4K. Currently active in osu!mania, enjoying the game without focusing too much on skill and just playing for fun.
