I choose to leave this here as I've been gay enough over the ETT staff channels and I don't feel as comfortable to leave this on Twitter
ETT has been a wild ride to me, and I'm glad with how it turned out. Happening right after MWC, and also during SOFT, I didn't have much high expectations regarding it, and I could see some people whose opinions I care about were skeptical about it. The staff list was expansive, but we actually didn't have much of that active staff too, and that really got me nervous, but everyone who's been actively staffing the tournament has done a really good job, and I want to leave a small dedicatory to some people here
Thank you underjoy and Alexx for hosting the tournament in the first place! underjoy has done an insanely good job with holding everything tight, and has come off his way to make the mappools as pleasant and diverse as he could. Though the mappools weren't always perfect, you've done more than an amazing job with the conditions we had, and your enthusiasm with making this happen and making the tournament even more exciting to watch is really admirable, and Alter was who made it all possible since the beginning, with all the hype back then. It's possible that, without the hype caused with ETT, even MWC might have not had happened, but that's just me speculating ww
I also want to thank rev for being the omnipresent ref and helping all around, even with comms when we were short on that area; Terni for being the omnipresent streamer, helping even when she was not streaming for us, staying up when we were short on streamers and doing all of that while playing the tournament; laundry and Albion for helping with most of the backstage, keeping the sheets up to date and functional, and helping in many other aspects too; evelyin for being the most amazing magician helping so much on later stages, not just with mapping but also with constant feedback and keeping the pools on check; paulkappa for helping with streaming on the last weeks of the tournament when no one else could; and I'm sure there are so many other people I'm missing here (like all the custom mappers but especially paradoxus with his amazing maps, SurfChu with his amazing comms and Beat with his amazing voice), but all the people I've mentinoed before were who managed to make the tournament be the blast it was and also helped me have a really great time, so for that, I thank you all 💜

i'm a rhythm game enthusiastic - i've been playing these since 2011, but only got to really like the genre during 2014, when i started playing mania for real
any game genre can captivate me though, and i've spent as much time playing rpgs as i've spent time playing games like the gta series rofl
my general interests are somewhat hard to describe, honestly i myself barely know what i like ndsfiukyhabsnuiydkha
it's easier to get to know me than to expect to know something about me otherwise
the only thing you should note about me is that i don't think gender identity/expression (which are supposed to be different things) neither sexuality should determine the way you're interacting with someone. this is plain weird if you think about it for a couple seconds
i struggle with social interactions, even when they're virtual, but feel free to dm me on discord or in game! i do like talking every now and then, so don't feel frightened to speak to me

i started tryharding guitar flash in 2010
i started tryharding mania in 2014
i started tryharding taiko in 2016
i was once a decent 7k player, but lost most of my motivation to keep improving, partially because of the mode's inactivity on the communities i participate // 2023 update: i'm happy 7k took off again, especially after 2022 7k mwc, which i gladly helped with; unfortunately, my drive for the game seems to be long gone. i might still be around though~
my key config is 123 489 (numpad for the right hand), it goes easier on my nails
at some point, i used 123 ;~] (on pt-br abnt layout)

this config isn't functional anymore because link's gifted keyboard already had some of those keys not working :<
key config on taiko doesn't matter that much, but i'm a full alt player
there are no real benefits in being full alt, don't do this
you might think it gives you speed but if you don't have speed as a single tap player, it won't do magic
you need actual speed, it will give you stamina at best, but once again, it doesn't do magic
if it matters that much, i'm a trans woman
even though a lot of girls have been coming out and the general acceptance of queer people on the broad rhythm game communities has been spreading, coming out was still difficult as heck, and i wish this wasn't such a common experience amongst trans folks on this community
identity is a complicated thing but feel free to ask me anything about that i guess
reminder that calling people ET just because they play mania is kind of tiring
also, reminder that you are my star, my angel, my most dear, special and precious friend, and the one who'll be forever welcome in my heart. i'm the most grateful girl on earth for having met you, and being by your side despite of all the trouble we've found your way. no matter what, i know that, if i'm in trouble, there'll be a witch in the woods waiting for me. i, too, am, truly, unarguably, yours forever 💜
and also that you are a guiding light, that in a night of despair took my hand and taught me, step by step, how to walk again, and how to follow such powerful rhythm that brought our paths together. the one who, despite knowing all the dangers of falling for someone like me, held me close and taught me how to fight against the roots and spikes dragging me down, like a dance as soft and light as the dreams within your eyes. i must admit; i'm still scared. but i feel safe with you, for you're patient and kind to help me as my love blooms by the time
