01/05/2026 I managed to reach the character limit on a me! section (60000). As such, I have removed all of the goals in current userpage and moved the 2024 userpage into a text file. Might have to take more measures to reduce the limit, because there is too much here

04/02/2026 20:38 UTC-3 (I accidentally deleted my osu!lazer files 😔. I'm so dumb)
In like 19:30 to 20:00 UTC-3, I decided to open windows explorer, and immediately, there was like 21GB left in the C drive (this is where windows is installed, and btw, I have another drive just for games), and the bar was red. This alarmed me, so I first thought that it was osu!lazer in appdata, and indeed, it was osu!lazer. I put the installer stuff (I thought that was the actual osu!lazer installation at first, but it was actually leftovers from the installer) and the actual installation in D:\osulazer (yes, it's a back slash in windows, not a forward slash, technically). However, when I launched osu!lazer, there was nothing. I think it's because the stuff isn't where osu! expected it to be (you can't even change where osu!lazer is installed in the installer yet, such a disadvantage compared to osu!stable). Thank god I play osu!stable too, because I imported everything from osu!stable, except for scores, because I don't need to import that, and 150 beatmaps and 20 skins is good to start over. Besides, I can look at my skins section on my profile, get some skins from o!rdr skins and maybe even create a beatmap collection with the osu!alt bot of the beatmaps that I played in 2026 (I'm not gonna do that tho, because first of all, idk the command for that, and second, I can just get beatmaps over time). Well, what's the lesson that I can learn from this? It is that osu!lazer is very inferior to osu!stable in some ways, but especially the fact that I wish that I could be able to move my osu!lazer installation or even just fucking change where osu!lazer is gonna be installed, this is so basic

my advice on how to improve/derust in osu! (probably will only work if you are around my skill level at the time (around 220k rank skill)
so, I'll put here how I derusted and even improved after not playing osu! that much in 2025, when I came back in late december 2025 to playing osu!std, because I think other people might find it useful
basic advice: don't focus on one single skillset (aim/streaming/precision/reading, blah blah blah), because if you play a map on one skillset that you didn't focus on, then you will suck horrendously. until recently, in 2026, I was scared of stream maps, but in 2026, I decided to focus a bit more on streaming and I actually got a bit better. sure, I can only do like 160 to 180BPM streams at the maximum, but it's better than how I was before in my former peak form in 2024. this should be enough proof that you should practice a bit of each skillset
so, if you have taken a long enough break (like one year, in this instance, although from time to time, I would play just a bit), you can challenge yourself, maybe a bit easier than the level you were before taking a break from osu!. for example, if you could do 4.5 star max before you took a break, then maybe do 4 star maps
I'm gonna put here my own story of me derusting:
So, it was late december 2025, and I just discovered get ready to rokk beatmap by rolled when I was checking eloto's profile and I saw their pinned 4 mod FC score on the hard diff. I had a goal of my first top 50 score on osu!std on osu!stable after such a long hiatus, but I wasn't as good anymore, because I was washed. I remember getting HRNC 2 miss around 93,04% acc on one of my first attempts (CS6,5 btw, this CS was my max back in 2024). I decided to do NCHRFL FC first as practice for HDNCHRFL FC later. I felt like giving up in the middle of the grind, because it was so damn hard, but eventually I got it on lazer on december 31st, 2025. eventually, on january 1st, 2026, I got NCHRFL FC on osu!stable (proof of the score's existence). the very next day, I got 4 mod FC on lazer, and the day after that, I got 3 4 mod FCs (I had close to 95% acc overwrite my 96% acc because of spinner, lol, and then, I got my current PB score, which funnily enough, has better acc than my score on lazer
I hope this basic as fuck advice can help even a single person

29/04/2026: I will start putting here random stuff. I'm probably gonna put either stuff where I am involved or mentioned in some form and/or is funny, but other criteria will be used, so pretty much, I will just put here things that I feel like putting here for some reason

my beginner story in osu!
I think I saw osu! first on some short youtube videos in like mid 2022 (could be a false memory tho, since I do feel like it is one, but it could be real too. I will never know for sure), and eventually, between december 22nd, 2022 14:40:06 UTC-3 (when I installed fedora linux on my old laptop) and december 28th, 2022 18:33:00 UTC-3, I downloaded osu!lazer to try osu! out. I knew that I could download the windows only osu! and use wine, but native was just more convenient for me (I later started playing stable on linux with wine tho, in mid 2023, I think). At the time, there wasn't an official lazer mode on the actual osu! website, you had to go to lazer.ppy.sh because lazer was still in the era where scores could be reset at any time for important changes, but I didn't care about that, just because it hadn't happened to me. Anyways, I remember raging at the tutorial and ragequitting multiple times over weeks and even deleting the appimage just because I didn't get SS, but before that, I created an osu! account to download more beatmaps, and the first beatmap that I played was aakki's bill wurtz - diamond beatmap, and the first diff that I played was beginner diff (you can find story on my old comment, here). Eventually, I stopped ragequitting in like early or mid 2023, and I started playing the game for fun. Now, fast forward to 2024, I wasn't that much of a beginner anymore, since I could play 2 star maps now, but I'm still gonna talk about it here. Then, I was shocked when lazer scores were announced to be reset, and I got frustated because all of my scores were gone. I could still use the lazer.ppy.sh website for old scores, but I didn't download the replay of my scores, because I was too lazy and I decided to just start over again, and like a few days after the reset, like a week at maximum, lazer.ppy.sh just redirected to the actual osu! website now. Those are the stories of mine that I wanted to put here.

about my banana catching in osu!catch
I am a bit good at catching bananas, and for some reason, I think that I'm better than average, just because I do catch bananas better than some people in leaderboards, but I'm probably not that good
how actually good am I at catching bananas in osu!catch then?
in this score, I got 209k score just from bananas, and it would still be #25 in this convert with 3 spinners and 73 scores submitted
scores/6373045929
this is a recent score, and in a map with 5792 scores submitted, I got #272

this section is about my reading (including reading low AR with or without hidden), precision (low CS, CS6 or higher is gonna be talked about), memorization (basically, just FL) and streaming (you should know what this means)
you can check me on osu!Skills by searching me up there or clicking here, but its just ratings decided by a program, so reading this section made by me is still worth it if you want to know about the skillsets that I cover here. you can also check me on osu!chan by searching me up there or clicking here, but it's just counting scores that I played with mods. you should still check this entire section out

reading
if you couldn't tell by there being so many easy mod scores in my pp top plays, I have basic reading skills, but good enough that I can read AR -35 Freeze Frame (Half Time with rate set to 0,5x, Difficulty Adjust mod setting AR -10, having to enabling extended limits first and Freeze Frame mod) without hidden and even have basic skills of this exact same mod combination, but with hidden

btw, I don't use gamma and I never will ever again for reading, even if peppy unbans it, because I am good enough at reading and I am used to not playing with gamma (I did try to play with the lowest xgamma value possible on the loved kecak map with EZHT back in like july to august 2024 iirc, and my reading didn't get better, so I never tried to play with gamma ever again

memorization
you can see by my pinned scores and top pp plays that I also play FL too, and nowadays, it's mostly for leaderboard farming, but FL is still fun. a big part of my top 50 scores are with FL too
btw, I don't play fl with gamma anymore, because of what peppy said about gamma in august 2025. I used to flashlight with gamma in 2024, but I stopped using it because it got banned, and I still got better at fl anyways. I'm never switching back to playing with the highest possible gamma

streaming
my streaming sucks, the maximum that I can do is around 180BPM at most, and even then, my stamina sucks, so I have to alternate really fast just to not miss, but my acc tanks
I can doubletap around 280BPM at maximum, but that's not tapping correctly, and my stamina for that speed sucks

thoughts on osu!lazer and leaderboard farming
03/06/2026: look at this. lazer scoring has gotten better imo, so I could actually stop leaderboard farming on stable, but I'm staying on stable for lb farming for now
13/04/2026: I decided to rewrite this
note: read the thoughts that people like NixXSkate, maikayuii and Dawnsday have on lazer. those thoughts are valid too and make good points
Honestly, if I am forced to start leaderboard farming on only lazer, then it's fine, because tbh, spinners/banana being too op and lower acc scores being over high acc scores with same mod combinations is a problem. However, imo, lazer scoring cares about acc way too much. I believe that a 95% 4 mod FC should be above HDDTFL 99% FC
After all, osu! is just a game tho, and if leaderboard farming goes the current lazer way (which I heavily dislike), then people will get used to it, and after like 5 years of being used to it, people will shut up and will not complain
However, there are other things that I'm not a fan of, like FL multiplier being 1,12x against DT (1.5x rate) multiplier 1,10x. In my opinion, this shouldn't be the case, and both FL and DT/NC (1.5x rate) should have 1,12x multiplier, and DT/NC (just gonna say DT/NC as DT too from now on) multipliers should be weighted accordingly based on DT 1.5x rate being 1,12x
There are a few things that need to be done in order to make lazer leaderboards much better (on std, in this case):
1: Make the DT/NC (1.5x) multiplier the same as FL's multiplier (1,12x is the current FL multiplier) and change the multipliers for other speed rates accordingly. It's not a good decision that the devs made when they make the DT multiplier 0,02x less than FL, and as a FL player who doesn't just play low diffs with HRNCFL/HDNCHRFL, FL having same multiplier as DT is actually better because of how many leaderboards have been ruined just because of that difference
2: Increase the classic mod multiplier by at least 0,02x or even 0,01x if that's what the devs are willing to do at most, best would be at 0,99x or 1,00x, and on no slider maps, definitely make 1x multiplier
Making these two changes would fix so many leaderboards that it would make the lazer scoring situation a lot better

old
note: you can say that my opinion is invalid because I'm noob leaderboard farmer or that it's not that deep, but I don't care. I just want to say my thoughts on this after seeing multiple opinions about osu!lazer and leaderboard farming on profiles of players like maikayuii and NixXSkate. also, these are just my opinions, so don't get mad at what I think
first of all, you could say that accuracy should matter more than combo, but I disagree. imo, a 95% 4 mod FC is better than a 98% 4 mod 4 miss at the 4 last notes for example
second, the lazer scoring system will ruin leaderboard farming and score farming. for now, lazer scores still count towards your total and ranked score, but that uses at least an approximation of ScoreV1. if ranked score and total score started using only the lazer scoring system (I'm not calling it just ScoreV2, because it's different from stable ScoreV2) for lazer scores, then you could just spam 4 mod scores on short 20 seconds (after mods applied) easy/beginner diffs for over 1.3 million score if you get really good acc. yes, both ScoreV1 and the lazer scoring system are flawed and have their own issues, subjectively, but I just prefer actual ScoreV1 than an approximation of it
third of all, although spinners are worth much more score in ScoreV1, it's better that way because more skill is involved, and although for better leaderboard farming, you need to git gud at spinning, you can also use mod multipliers, mostly HD and FL that you can use, alongside other mods to still get top 50 scores anyways. also, I don't like spinner caps existing
fourth, classic mod multiplier should be 1,00x or even 0,99x at maximum. self-explanatory
Anyways, I know that you could just use DT/NC rates for higher multiplier and that lb farming is not gonna be dead in lazer, just different, but stable lb farming is just better, more skilled and more rewarding, and that makes it more fun for me. now, I don't hate the devs, it's just that I don't think that they are doing the right thing, but it's just a game after all. I'm not that serious at all of this. If leaderboard farming on lazer becomes the norm after stable is deprecated or even discontinued, which won't happen in like the next 5 to 10 years, then people will have to get used to it, and that's just the truth. The developers may also be trying to make osu!lazer better for worse players, which makes leaderboard farming experience better for the average joe, and that's actually one good thing about what the devs are doing in lazer. If I'm forced to start leaderboard farming in lazer in the future, like actually, from the devs disabling submitting scores on stable or just making stable deprecated, then I will migrate fully to lazer and try to adapt to lazer leaderboard farming
edit: osu! is holding a survey for mod multipliers and scoring in lazer, this is very good. I hope what I thought about will be the case in lazer, but even if it isn't, I'm just happy that the osu! team did this
edit 2: after some thoughts, here they are: while dt/nc rates could ruin leaderboard farming, like I said, leaderboard farming is just gonna be different, and being able to change the rates of the speed changing mods (dt/nc and ht/dc) is good. first of all, you can play at different speeds, to play at your exact level that you are good enough at and that you want to play at, maybe in your comfort zone or maybe challenging yourself. second, dt rates can be good for practicing higher AR. say that you can read ar 10 at maximum, and you wanna get good at ar 10.3 (basically, ar9 with dt becomes ar 10.3, and being able to read this fast is really good), so change the rate to ar 10.1 to practice that, and then change the rate to ar 10.2, and finally, change the rate to be ar 10.3. you can improve now, in intervals of .1 being AR difference
edit 3: I just realized that lazer scoring would kill the banana catching community too, alongside the spinning community. yet another point for lazer scoring being bad
oh yeah, and also, lazer leaderboards are invalid for now imo
first of all, you could say that accuracy should matter more than combo, but I disagree. imo, a 95% 4 mod FC is better than a 98% 4 mod 4 miss at the 4 last notes for example
second, the lazer scoring system will ruin leaderboard farming and score farming. for now, lazer scores still count towards your total and ranked score, but that uses at least an approximation of ScoreV1. if ranked score and total score started using only the lazer scoring system (I'm not calling it just ScoreV2, because it's different from stable ScoreV2) for lazer scores, then you could just spam 4 mod scores on short 20 seconds (after mods applied) easy/beginner diffs for over 1.3 million score if you get really good acc. yes, both ScoreV1 and the lazer scoring system are flawed and have their own issues, subjectively, but I just prefer actual ScoreV1 than an approximation of it
third of all, although spinners are worth much more score in ScoreV1, it's better that way because more skill is involved, and although for better leaderboard farming, you need to git gud at spinning, you can also use mod multipliers, mostly HD and FL that you can use, alongside other mods to still get top 50 scores anyways. also, I don't like spinner caps existing
fourth, classic mod multiplier should be 1,00x or even 0,99x at maximum. self-explanatory
If I'm forced to start leaderboard farming in lazer in the future, like actually, from the devs disabling submitting scores on stable or just making stable deprecated, then I will migrate fully to lazer and try to adapt to lazer leaderboard farming

skins that I use
when I'm playing with FL in osu!std, I use an old Nitroz skin (dl from o!rdr servers dl from catbox servers), haxwell skin, osu! Default skin improved. when I'm playing low AR, I use either +GN skin edit (find +GN on https://sites.google.com/view/bubbleskins, -GN's boom 0524 edit skin or an edited version of an older version of teppi fangirl's boom meow edit skin (the current version of her skin is different from what I remember, so that's why I'm saying that my skin mix is based on an older version of the skin) (download, last updated 02/05/2026), which is probably an edited version of -GN's boom 0524 edit, which in turn, is an edit of rustbell's boom 0524 skin (14/05/2026: I'm pretty much only using my boom 0524 edit skin mix (the edited version of teppi fangirl's boom edit skin, in case you somehow don't know which skin I'm talking about)). otherwise, when playing with other mods/mod combinations, I mostly use rrtyui skin, aristia edit trail skin, WWW's newest skin and many other skins
for ctb, I use rostld skin and sometimes molneya skin (mostly for edge jump maps with easy mod). I also use an old nitroz skin (download link on the first line) for mostly fl only gameplay
for taiko, I use rostld skin and molneya skin
ask me what skin I used in a score tho, because I use many more skins alongside these skins that I just listed and I use whatever skin based what I feel like using

how to get the maximum closest possible to ar -∞ in osu!lazer
edit the diff that you wanna play with ar -∞
save to another diff as copy of this diff that you wanna edit
make there be only one combo color
play with freeze frame, ht with speed set to 0,50x and with difficulty adjust, ar adjusted to ar -10 for lowest ar possible
save
not everything will appear on the screen, probably for optimization of osu!lazer, but so many objects will appear at one time. also, if you don't wanna use difficulty adjust, then just edit the stats of the diff. there could be another method for even closer to ar -∞ in the future or even now, but for now, this is the best method for the closest possible to ar -∞ in osu!lazer

origin story behind my username
So, back in 2022, in february, I was using betacraft (https://betacraft.uk/), a minecraft launcher for playing old versions of minecraft. I had to set my username, and since I didn't have an username at the time, I just thought quickly "user3412" and since it was really simple, I thought the username was good enough and later, after using the username for my accounts on internet platforms, I just got used to using "user3412", I sticked with the username
leaderboard farmer stuff (osu!stable, not osu!lazer)
first #1 score on osu!std osu!stable achieved on 26/03/2026 (accidental scorev1 lol. before this score, I got 11x100 FC, but since I had gotten 5x100 FC choke before, I went for better acc, and alongside doing that, I accidentally ScoreV1ed TheShadowOfDark)
https://osustats.ppy.sh/u/user3412//1//////1-50/ (osu!standard top 50s, this is not updated in real time, so some scores could be missing, but it's updated once every day at 00:00 UTC, I think)
leaderboard farming since june 2024 (https://osu.ppy.sh/comments/3203979)
at my peak form, back in 2024, I could spin around 400 to 430 rpm average iirc, but currently, I can spin at 300 to 350 rpm on average
Mostly leaderboard farming on osu!standard, although I might leaderboard farm on catch and very rarely taiko
btw, I don't farm country #1s, it's just that beatmap leaderboards have gotten more dead, which is because at this point, iirc, 50% of all osu! players are on lazer and leaderboard farming is already niche enough (also, there are more pp farmers, and with all of these pp farm maps (or aimslop, if you wanna call it that), FC doesn't matter, thanks to combo scaling rework and there being many jumps in these pp farm maps (and that's why people call them aimslop)
search filters for top 50 farming with fl (maybe even non-hidden, if not as hard to get top 50 in that case): ar<6 length<31 (I don't use these filters currently, they are nchrfl filters)
top 8 in global leaderboard is my priority when farming top 50s, but I also farm top 50s on leaderboards where I can't get top 8

getting top 50s on the bundled maps
information: https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/308881/what-which-beatmaps-are-bundled-with-osu
go for nchrfl on easy and normal diffs of the many bundled maps, if it would be top 50 for FC, and some more scores, like NCFL/HDHRFL FC on some hard diffs
this is for higher replays watched counter
14/03/2026 edit: I'm lazy, so this is just here in case I get motivated enough to stop procastinating

ultra respect list
these are people that I respect so much that they can't be in just a plain respect list with other people who I have same respect level, because the people here in this list, I respect them even more and they are one of the people that I respect the most
molneya (I remember seeing this guy in hard diff lbs since like june 2024 and ever since, he has been my inspiration to constantly push myself just so that I can fc harder hard diffs with hdnc and feel like a molneya (and that obviously helped me improve, which is really important))
Fat Whale (he is my only inspiration for playing fl, and also, my only inspiration at all in osu! nowadays, and even in 2024, he was already my fl idol. he is the reason that I use haxwell skin for fl plays without hidden and hdhrfl plays on short hard diffs. you do not understand how much I respect him. he is a very awesome fl player, and he inspired me because he has so many fl scores and his dedication inspired me to be even more dedicated. I look forward to him coming back to playing flashlight regularly, because he is just the goat)

new respect list
The respect list on my old userpage is outdated, so here it is (no serious specific players on this new respect list for now):
Danneh (for being the first to gift me osu!supporter, which allowed me to enjoy the benefits of osu!supporter for the first time after dreaming about, but it also allowed me to permanently have this me! box. if I never had osu!supporter, then I would've just continued to put stuff on my web page like I was doing, but I still respect Danneh for allowing me to have osu!supporter for the first time)
Anyone who is a multi mode player and is really good at the game modes that they play (really impressive for me)
Leaderboard farmers on any game mode (very dedicated, and I respect that)
People who are really good at flashlight, including players of taiko, osu!standard and ctb (really impressive stuff that they can do. also, I didn't include mania FL players because pretty much no one plays FL on mania)
SS farmers (I respect their dedication too, and it's just to increase their amount of perfection, but a profile with so many SSes is a really good profile in my opinion)
Score farmers (again, very dedicated to increasing a number and becoming elite in terms of most score, and I respect that too)
Spin players (because I suck at spinning and I want to be able to spin really close to 477 RPM one day)
High CS players on osu!standard and ctb (I guess CS7 or CS7,8 or higher for standard and CS6.5 or CS7 or higher for ctb)
touch screen players who are really good
taiko, convert and mania convert enjoyers (because I enjoy taiko and ctb converts, and it's really fun)
Players who can read low AR really well (it's genuinely impressive, the extremes are as impressive as the memorization extremes)
people who are really good at hidden (you might think "oh, hidden is really easy, if you know the rhythm" and while you may be right, I'm talking about being able to read low AR for all game modes, and just being able to read hidden at all in all game modes besides osu!std)
[-Sukii-] (really good at leaderboard farming and has a really great spin, but sukii is here mainly because he called me a gimel, thanked me for helping me setting up the flag counter in his profile, and even put me on his respect list. idk what gimel means, but I respect that he respected me)
anyone who can read higher than 10 AR (because I do suck a bit at AR10, and anything above that requires memorization just to be able to read
peppy for creating osu!
anyone who has ever participated in the osu! team, because they helped osu! get to where it is today, and they are very cool for even working for osu! in the first place (everyone except for those who fuck over leaderboard farmers and fuck over the players in general, those team members do not deserve any respect at all)
RADY FRIDAY (DTFL/NCFL players on hard diffs are crazy enough, but 4 modding hard diffs and SSing them is even crazier)
Psiki (even better than RADY FRIDAY, because alongside 4 modding hard diffs, psiki 4 mods up to around 5,50 star diffs)
ExGon (wait, I forgot to put him here? how dare I forget!)
ozy (friendly in #spectator whenever I spectate them)
waguri-san (really dedicated HDNCFL SS #1 farmer, and even more respect for playing nightcore)
Perfect Dusk (getting 429pp with EZHDTD on a TAG4 map as not even top 200k player is instant respect from me without thinking (it doesn't matter if he used TD or not, perfect dusk is just simply that goated 02/04/2026 perfect dusk got this score. really crazy score, so I have even more respect for him)
Kaikirou (I saw this player on the stable scoring lb of the hard diff of this map, and I thought that him using the windows 8.1 default avatar was funny, so I used the user account picture for some time from some point in february 2026 to some point in march 2026)
Eloi2525 (really good at HDFL in osu!taiko and has set some good FL scores in osu!std too)
and most importantly, simpleastronaut, for being astronaut that knows about osu!
BananaCat310 (first person to follow me first on twitter (I don't mean first person to follow me ever, I mean first person to follow me that I wasn't following before)
Buster (invest in buster
BlueChinchompa (better than me at osu!, but also, this person put a lot of effort into his website (more effort than I put into my 2026 and 2024 userpages combined, I think. also, bluechin sucks)
Teppi Fangirl/lamenting alice/Tarax (in this score, she managed to get #41 on a really hard aim map with a 0,50x multiplier on osu!stable. this is already really impressive, but when you watch the replay, you realize that this is so goddamn hard to read with easy mod, which makes the score even more impressive, and this score deserves a lot of respect)

old goals from 2024
get a hdncfl ss on https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/5475#osu/26816 on osu!stable so that I get a much better lb position (potential top 3 is better than being in the top 7) (I'm going to have to fc hdnc first just so I can see that I can set this score first though) (already complete as of 05/02/2026 lol. I got #4 and I was SSing until I got 2 100s right at the end but at least I still got the FC (no slider end misses too, wow), really good acc (same as milhioreF's acc) and 170pp (lol))
get a nomod fc on https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/2178#osu/19015 so that I can make sure that I can at least still fc 4* star maps like I could in the past (this goal is actually from 2025, when I decided to play the game for once, I didn't want to be rusty, so I put this goal in my old userpage goals)
get a hdncfl ss on https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/20359#osu/71192 again (I messed up the spinner at the beginning on my old hdncfl ss iirc)
get a hdhrfl ss or maybe just a full combo on https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/85#osu/193 on osu!lazer first and then maybe do it on osu!stable later too (I had choked this score so many times that I just eventually stopped grinding

my maps are not that good, but back in 2024, I was mapping for fun, and alongside my 3 maps that I submitted to osu!, I made some diffs. you can check out those maps here and download them there
