I'm from Guitar Hero. More or less I played it for 6 years, the Xbox360 version, (and yes, with the guitar controller).Before, I played a pc game called Frets on Fire, it was basically a transposition of Guitar Hero for the pc, so that's actually where I learned what VSRG are. When I stopped being a console gamer I didnt' know there were others VSRG, but my brother made me discover a game called Guitar Flash, so I just played it for 3 years, it's still the same thing of the above mentioned games. All these games didn't have any community and it was boring to play them alone, however, I posted a gameplay of Guitar Flash on my YouTube channel, and a friend of mine watched it, then told me that I had to try osu!mania. Let me digress, I already tried osu! 3 years before that this guy told me to play it, but at that time, mania mode didn't exist, (or maybe
I just didn't notice it) and I only played the standard mode, which I didn't enjoy. Anyway I tried osu!mania and I found it quite interesting, especially because there is a large community, and I was used to play games without any community, so this was a new thing and it captured my interest, and also in osu maps there are a lot of different patterns, instead of the games I used to play where there were always the same ones spammed in different ways in every map. That's all, I started by playing 7k because the friend who introduced me to the game told me that it's better to start with 7k so that I won't have a hard time switching from 4k to 7k like most of people have.
