Lately I have been finding more enjoyment with gaming. I feel like I am achieving a better balance now with physical / mental health, and practice / enjoyment of game - but, I've been getting fucked pretty hard with work and tiredness, so the consistency is gone and every session feels like de-rusting :\

I really have low / no expectations and no big goals, I think as long as I'm enjoying it, seeing some progress, and able to recapture some of my ability from the past that is great.

Sometimes I'll enjoy more routine / easy to pick-up puzzle, Sudoku and variants or Chess games. I might also pick out a random game of various genres, both old and new.

Historically I have played a wide variety of rhythm games, both arcade or simulator format, but given limited time and selective interest I can't put in time into every game.

To be honest, one of my biggest problems is that I cannot stay committed to a single hobby, I constantly feel the urge to change things up every few weeks or so. Maybe it is because of how things are now, like with Tung Tung Tung Sahur lol :\

osu! priorities - taiko > catch > mania

Inactive simulators - Etterna, ITGmania, StepP1+, etc.

Inactive arcade - jubeat, Chunithm, Taiko, DDR, PIU, etc.

Note - New stuff coming to arcade soon, maybe will reignite some new interests in upcoming month(s).

Don't overthink it, it is just a mix of good listens, fun to play, nostalgia, or combinations of these things 😛

Ultimately, it is just a finger dancing game that we nerds play in exchange for artificial light on the screen with big numbers that go brrrrr that triggers dopamine release, it isn't that serious (ˆ𐃷ˆ)
