my history
2012: first saw the game, was interested. started watching seasonal anime since summer 2012 (Ive seen a lot)
2013: made this account and started playing for fun. I found out that I was really bad at anything that had to do with music. Looking back now, not even in my wildest dreams back then I couldve thought I wouldve achieved anything that I did until now. I couldnt pass 4* maps, I couldnt tap properly (alternating inbetween sliders til this day) and play without hitlightning. I wouldve never thought I would made it "big" so I just used osu as a warmup for other games.
2014: kept playing here and there after school, league was still my main game but osu became more and more fun. Got my tablet on christmas 2014, still using it to this day. Also started watching leaderboard scores and following the topplayer scene. Also met Skidayo, my best osu friend back then and big inspiration for everything, especially hddt and scorefarming
2015: main focus on the game was spectating hvick/topplayers during the hvick and zirba era, still the most nostalgic and probably best time for me. Started playing and improving more.
2016: reached my peak skill aimwise but also started getting hand problems. After hvick and zirba quit I started playing less and less and eventually almost quit.
2017: After I realized my idols wouldnt come back my passion died out for this game, no reason to improve anymore. Tried quitting but came back and started having fun again with leaderboards and especially country #1s. This was the start of my leaderboard journey. Also bought my own car.
2018: Kept playing, hustling and grinding while working 2 jobs and having uni simultaneously, started playing old maps, FL, AR 11. Eventually reached 1000 country #1s and my first global #1 at the end of 2018 (no country snipe site existed yet).
2019: The grind continued, more FL, more country #1s, more skills while living a lively student life full of parties with my japanese exchange student. Also attended COE for the first time with my best friend closure and met cookiezi and other famous topplayers like www, GN-, rafis, wilchq, idke etc. Had a phenomenal time and made lots of new friends. Also attended my first Dokomi and found my love for cosplay and anime conventions.
Launch of the country #1 leaderboard website https://snipe.huismetbenen.nl/rankings/de/osu/count
at the start of it I was #1 with 3600 #1s, wimpn and akire behind me with also around 3k. Since then my fierce battle for most coutnry #1s with them started, he beat me for one week at around 6k but since then I kept it.
Also the start of my own discord server with a wild mix of real friends, osu friends and other internet friends.
2020: The biggest grind year for me probably, reaching 10k country #1s and above, the first and only one for germany until this game started dying. Quit university during corona and tried to semi-become an osu streamer, lots of people started joining my server and that was the start of the german "snipe mafia", lots of talents and friends alike kept coming in and started to form a community. I also started to become more known internationally, joined servers of other famous lb players like griffin's and ed's.
2021: After reaching the top by far with 15k country #1s i reached my peak for leaderboard farming. All that while I build a community with other skillful #1 farmer who were equal or better than me. With enough grind I'm sure everyone of them could beat me.
Also because of Magnus Cosmos ban (I miss him, I think global #1 farming got boring since he left), I attained most global #1s in germany for a short period of time.
A lot of things happened at the end of the year, beef with german tournament players which led to the infamous "snipe event" at the end of each year; finally finding a job/training and moving out from home for the first time and other obstacles led to me quitting this game, I felt like I actually reached my overall peak to what I could do as a player and as a community member.
Also the inevitable coming of lazer made me realize that there is no reason to keep playing anymore.
2022: after lots of my leaderboard friends convinced me to come back, I did. But since then, Ive just become a scorekeeper. My big passion was gone, I just played to keep my 15k #1s and for other statistics such as 20k replays, 300k playcount and top 25 in ranked score. This was also probably the peak/beginning of the end for my leaderboard community, because of me quitting and lazer a lot of great players like Autorennen started playing less and less and eventually left the game in the upcoming years.
2023: another complex year for me, osu wise not much has happened besides the Lain incident (server leaks, disrespect lists etc) but ingame I just kept playing for statistics and fun. I tried to become more of a rolemodel for the young people in my community, for that I would also need to become a successful adult irl.
In this year I finally fulfilled my personal dream of visiting Japan, until this day it was the best vacation of my life and I definitely wanna move and live there. Funnily enough I went there with 2 friends that I got to know through osu, Fun F4ct and Veno. I also started attending more and more conventions, until I finally met my first girlfriend after 10 years (ratgirl). I wont go into details here but after that year I had lots of character development.
2024: made a tierlist for countries based on how hard it is to get country #1s there that went a bit viral, osu wasnt really my main game anymore. Started playing more gachas and visual novels (actually more like 2021-2024 but yeah).
Irl was more of a deal, I attended lots of convetions, switched places, switched jobs. Very hectic year but settled down back to my roots eventually.
2025: I think you could say that since this year this game/stable is officially dead. Since lazer client came, a decent amount of players either moved clients or quit completely. This was the last straw. All the maps since then have dead leaderboards with <1000 and even <100 playcount. No reason to play or grind for anything anymore since every score can be beaten in lazer, if uncertainity exists people wont really play anymore.
At the end of 2024 I made lots of cosplay friends irl and in that year I really deep dove into the community, all kinds of conventions, all kinds of people, went viral (one reel 4 mio+ views) and overall had a rollercoaster of a life. Also the year of Manga for me, if you like them, check my twitter.
Went back to the roots and flew to Kazakhstan for a month, the place where I was born and everything has been the same, but lots of things changed aswell.
2026: Personally a horrible year so far, but again with lots of character development. Will update this eventually.
Still playing/streaming at least once a week, I still want to reach 400k playcount and 40k replays watched. If you have read until here, I would be happy for every replay you watch of me. I promise they are fun to watch because of the small area + shaky aim combo. Thanks to everyone in my journey so far.
