Things you need to know before requesting

I'm a mania BN
NOT std, NOT taiko, NOT ctb, I'm a mania BN
Follow both Ranking Criteria and Mania's Ranking Criteria
It must be hitsounded, preferably using custom hitsounds
Be confident in your map
I do have preference, but I don't want it to become a reason for not sending your map"
Make sure you think it's perfect.
How can you convince me to rank it if you're not even sure about your map?
Only 1 request per mapper per month
No matter how you request. I will auto reject the extra request
You can request same map again and again if you think it improved
I will be so glad that you worked hard on the same map"

When and how you can request?

I'll be open on the first day of each month, and lasting a week (7 days)
>Request through Google Form, and it will auto update in Trello (Few minute delay)

* I'm now trying to open every month to give more chances to mappers, but don't expect I can able to check many maps. If your map still in pending in Trello till next month, it will be auto rejected. It doesn't mean i dont like it. Actually I might likely accept it, but due to some reason I didn't (too many request). Try to improve your map to get more attention or request again next month
When I'm closed, and your map ALREADY HAS 1 NOMINATION (not 1 bn, but 1 nomination)(in mania mode)

Common Mistakes By Modders from Naxess's Profile
Naxess's Profile has a spoiler boxlist called "Common Mistakes By Modders", it list many typical mistakes and gives suggestions to fix them.
Code of conduct for modding and mapping
Its basically a guideline for modding
Reduce the number of doing add/move/remove note modding
Don't just focus on one note, try to focus on the pattern / section / difficulty etc etc
For example, Does the pattern fit the song/melody?
Is the pattern consistent with with other same / similar part?
Do different sections give the correct emotion about the song? Like does the chorus / drop give more density and the clam part give less
Do the difficulty too over as a Normal diffs? like the normal diffs play like hard diffs

Mapping Skill

This is for someone who just started mapping, and doesn't know how to improve.
I think there has 3 important thing about mapping

Make the player feel like playing the song
You can do it by using different pattern to represent different instrument. eg. LN form vocal, single note for piano, double for kick, triple for cymbal
Stay consistency
Based on above, we dont want a cymbal be a single, cuz it break player expectation and make player feel weird or awkward. Try to keep consistent in the whole song, or at least a big section.
Comfortable
Except some special case, we want to map it convenient for better experience. How to do that? In one word: BALANCE
Pay attention if there has many/fewer(unbalance) notes between different col/hand
