I play a weird mix of drag/hover; I lift my pen when moving and place it down when on a note (drag for sliders/streams).
Middle/Index tapping. I single tap but I switch between which finger is single tapping somewhat arbitrarily. I'm much more comfortable doing repeated bursts starting with middle finger though.
