I genuinely love and miss osu! so much.
With my RSI persisting and forcing me to back away, it feels like a part of me has been torn out.
It's so deeply frustrating. I cannot do anything against it, no matter how hard I've tried.
A little bit of hope has been restored though, as further diagnosis has lead to new possible treatments.
I can only hope that they figure out what's wrong, and that they eventually agree to my suggestion of surgery.
I hold on to that hope, and I'll keep holding on to the motivation of the past.
Yet again, I refuse to give up.

I'm gonna be honest, it hasn't been easy for me this summer.
It's been taking so long to recover from all of my health issues, most notably my RSI.
It feels like the entire summer just flew by so quickly, my plans and goals for osu! disappearing alongside it.
While it is depressing, I can't allow myself to constantly sulk over what could have been.
All I can do now is to start getting back on my feet, looking in the now, and enjoying the game again.
I refuse to give up.

I wish I didn't have such insane expectations for myself.
Be honest with yourself, and try to be realistic.
Don't measure your progress against others. Focus on your own journey.
Don't chase approval, make sure you are proud of what you're doing.
Don't push yourself too hard. Work on something within your grasp, then aim to accomplish your goals.
Practice may lead to perfection, but it is not possible without patience.
Make sure to celebrate every step, no matter how insignificant it may seem.
Have fun and let loose. After all, it's a marathon, not a sprint.
All of the above is important in osu!, but even more so in real life.
Don't give up.

"Talent" often just means getting lucky, accidentally understanding certain mechanics faster than others.
Fundamentally, everyone is capable of anything.
It is you, and only you, that decides what's truly possible.
