News about me
Nowaday's I have split a bit from taiko mainly because I'm trying to grow as a streamer on Twitch, I'm really working on it with all I have so it's a big move from me and even tho I still enjoy the game, I can't play as much as before. Due to this, my skill has lowered considerably. Thanks to everyone who's been around during this wonderful time

WHY DO I PLAY TAIKO?Why do I play taiko? (Backstory)
Long ago, back in 2013 I started hearing stuff about this rhythm game, by that time I was a competitive swimmer (region-ish level) and I enjoyed competing against people wherever it was. At first I played osu!standard for a long period of 2 years, I wanted to become better and better but when I reached about rank 90k (800 in spanish rank) I realised that I wouldn't really make it further as I was a full mouse player and I didn't enjoy using tablet at all.
That's when I discovered Taiko.
In mid-2015 I quitted swimming but I realized I couldn't stand to be a regular player and not being recognized anywhere, I really wanted to get into something, whatever it was, but in a high competition level.
I started searching for lots of games in which I could shine but I didn't really make it through to consider me worthy of being called a "pro", so I was kind of upset about myself. I started playing taiko for one simple reason, be it as stupid as it is; It felt so good to earn PP by doing such little effort (compared to osu!standard, when you start, the amount is "considerable"), that's why I thought it would be cool to get pro in that gamemode; also, I had played Taiko no tatsujin before so the fact that it was familiar to me, made me be so sure about my choice.
From then to now, I've been playing taiko a lot, I've had many breaks when I felt like quitting but, being at the point I am right now, I'd only consider it when I reach my goals.

PLAYSTYLE
Osu Standard: Mouse + ZX (only on streams, normally I just click with the mouse)
Taiko: This one is a bit harder to explain, so I'll tell you all the playstyles I've had so far so hopefully you can understand.

- Started playing only with mouse and gradually added the other 2 fingers to the keyboard.
During that period I played
DKDK (Singletap): Q W left click right clickI kept playing like this until I reached rank 5k (around a year?) and realized that if I wanted to go further I'd have to improve, and I couldn't if I was playing like that, although it felt very confortable to me. - Decided to try
KDDK (Singletap): Q+W, left click +right clickHonestly, this only lasted like two weeks but it was kinda fun, I had to mention it - Moved to the keyboard completely
KDDK (Singletap): QWDFI hang on to this playstyle and grew on skill but it lead me to some bad injuring on my wrists that kept coming after long breaks so I decided to change once again - Swapped keys until I felt confortable and reached my final and actual playstyle
(KDDK SEMIALT) (Very weird semialt)

SPECIAL THANKS
In these two years I've met a lot of people, many worthy of my gratitude so here it goes.

Mi eterno rival, el fullalt master, also known as pollo desplumao.

Cheers man - Nara24
- Taiko Spain Discord Server
