Aug. 2021 - An absolute legend named Chaozz recruits me into a team for the Tost 2 Tournament on part to join the fantastic "United States D" team (A band of rejects including, Chaozz, Danthesodacan, Lupa, and me all coping with the fact we barely didn't qualify for the U.S. team in 5wc).

Sept. 2021 - Playing in Tost 2 has me slowly gaining confidence in playing HR and just playing tournaments in general! It's fun and awesome! .

The tale of danthesodacan begins with the vast, glimmering ocean.

Waves roll along the coast

Fat piplups grace the beach, snoozing upon it’s warm sand

Soda cans sink to the bottom of the sea

Now, a horse gallops through the wind

The horse stops along the coast as the icy waves cover his hooves

The horse knows what lies at the bottom

But the world doesn’t.

The tides are turning,

The rumbling begins.

Man. says the horse in a deep sigh.

And so he gallapse again, but this time at breakneck speeds

Sand sprays behind him as he breaks the sound barrier

A fat piplup continues to snooze upon the warmth of the sand

The horse roars behind him as hands and fingers, wet and viscous, extend out of his hoof.

Without a moment to spare, the horse sinks his fingers deep into the plump fat of piplup

The fat piplup slowly opens his eyes in confusion,

Dazed at what has happened.

Teeth with the whitest and widest grin stare at him

The horse thrusts fat piplup with all his might

And the crying fat piplup crashes deep within the clutches of the sea.

Now, silence ensues…

With only one touch, fat piplup realizes the duty cast upon him by the horse

The world needs to know of danthesodacan's grace.

He comes to his senses and dives deeper into the trenchlike sea

Soda cans are everywhere

The soda cans are crying,
And he can hear his mind say,

Cans Save. The Save Do it Cans
Cans Save The Dan Save The
Save soda soda
Dan Save Cans. save soda Dans Save

Save the soda can… But which one? There’s so many

Fat piplup continues his dive, and seafloor begins to draw near

In the distance, he sees something…
It’s a soda can!

But this soda can is pressed into the wet, muddy sand, but is glowing, and looks so pure.

Fat piplup gets closer and examines the soda can

It says, “dan”
And it looks Immaculate.
Like it has the potential to satiate or challenge even the gods.

The rumbling begins again.

Seaweed larger than mount everest covers the sea above him, in a blinding mess.

It’s going to kill fat piplup if he takes the soda can

Fat piplup snaps his head to see it.
It’s massive.
I don’t want to die.

But he grabs the can anyways and Swims desperately towards the surface

The seaweed surges towards him
It’s gaining on him!

Fat piplup is now almost there though

I can make it!

But he doesn’t
The seaweed wraps around fat piplup’s leg ripping him back down,
Fat piplup is smashed into the sea floor, barely hanging on to the soda can

I have to protect it…. I have to…

But the seaweed shows no remorse.

More of fat piplup is becoming entangled within the sharp sea vines

Fat piplup tries to fight off the sea vines with all his power.

But piece by piece, each limb becomes immobilized and constricted

Fat piplup is going to be a failure

Fat piplup is going to die

The soda can will never rise to the surface

Please… not the soda can…. Even if I die…

The seaweed has no ears though, and pulls tighter on the constricted fat piplup

Fat piplup screams

It hurts IT HURTS it hurts IT BURNS iTS KILLING ME IT HURTS

Wait! Fat piplup is still holding the soda can!

I know it’s sacred, but it’s almost like there’s a voice
Telling me to open it.
I have no other choice..

And so Fat piplup opens the soda can that says “dan”

The rumbling breaks into an unbearable earthquake

Suddenly, Giant Giga Chad Dan comes out of the can

Speechless, dan wastes no time ripping the sea weed to shreds.

The seaweed screeches in agony, far louder than that of fat piplup

And dan makes sure the seaweed pays.

The seaweed will suffer.

Fat piplup will live.

And with that, and fat piplup saved, dan returns to the soda can.

The rumbling earthquake also ends and tranquility is restored.

Fat piplup can now finish his duty.

He swims up to the surface and the horse still awaits him.

Man. the horse says
You actually did it.

And with that, the two can now rest along the peaceful coast,

Listening to the rolling waves, and snoozing upon its warm sand.

Danthesodacan is saved

And the world will learn of his grace.
