About
More than a decade of memories, thank you all for being part of it!
First of all, I would like to introduce myself for those who don't know me.
I am Dropinx, formerly known as xxluizxx47, Geluiza or Biia, I am from Brazil and I am the first player to achieve all osu! medals across all the four gamemodes as of October 16, 2025.
I received the "Medal Hunter" title for that accomplishment.
I achieved what I always played for, my brothers' proudness and osu! medal completion, but I lost the most important person along the way. I'll always love you, rest in peace, mom 💔.
My osu! journey started a few weeks before I created my account back in July 22, 2014.
One of my brothers, xxlucasxx47 which I stole my first nickname idea from, downloaded osu! on my older brother's computer and shared the experience of that rhythm game with me and to one of my other brothers, edsonsilvajr21.
At that time I was at the age of 11 years old, I used to play Guitar Hero on PS2 with a controller even before I played osu!
The fun and joy with rhythm games was already part of me, and with osu! coming into place, I was really hypontized with the concept of the game.
With osu! on the table, I started to play less and less other genres of games, and my main focus was clicking circles.
And that's where my competitive spirit has awaken...
Seeing all of my four brothers playing any videogames better than me, I wanted to be better than then atleast in some games so they could be proud of me for something we all loved.
After a few months of playing osu!, I could surpass the two of my brothers that played osu! with me.
I felt so happy about it, but then one of them started playing osu! catch the beat, and a few months later,
They both got banned because osu! thought it was just multiaccounting, having 3 accounts on the same computer was something osu! always showed about not being allowed.
But the point is that it was an account for us three, and after they got banned, they got demotivated from the game, leading me to the start of a journey I didn't know it would be part of my life.
When did I started medal hunting?
I started medal hunting back in 2017, when the old osu! website was nearing its end, and the oldschool looking achievements were fading.
The old style of osu! achievements looked so cool on the profile page that I wanted to have them all aswell on my own profile.
Uan was the player that I got inspired on getting all the achievements since the player had almost all of them.
But I wasnt really into the other gamemodes so I was really late on getting the achievements, as the new osu! website took place in the late 2018.
Being introduced the Pass and Full Combo medals on all four gamemodes, medal completion got really far away from reality.
But why didn't I stopped the hunt then?
Personally I felt like a new challenge, and I wanted to make my brothers proud of something I achieved, with the addition of the new medals, I got demotivated at the beginning because I thought it would be impossible and my brothers weren't into the game anymore, I was the only that decided to continue with osu!
I've put on my head that I needed to achieve something, not for me, but for them.
I became so addicted to the game and I wanted to finish everything as soon as I could, but getting the skill on a single gamemode took so much time.
And that's what people don't understand, how hard it is to accomplish all osu! medals,
How many days I missed school just to get better at the game, the yells, judgement, disappointment from my family, but I didn't stopped.
Alongside the medals, I managed to get:
Reach rank #99 osu! standard on August 16th 2020.
A Tournament Badge.
Ranked and Loved maps.
An User Title.
Played in four osu! World Cups.
osu!standard 10* FC.
osu!taiko 8* FC.
osu!mania 8* FC.
osu!catch 8* FC.
My advices for osu! players in general:
You can blame anything you want, you can play everyday, but if you don't leave enough space for peace in your head,
all you gather is frustration, so instead of insta retrying every map over and over, take a little break, play other maps,
or even close osu! and go do your homework, grab a snack, talk with your family, get away from the computer for a day if you can.
For any kind of knowledge growth, your brain needs time to process and learn anything you had in the day.
Don't be demotivated for anything, remember that you are stil trying, and if you can't do something, accepting and respecting your capabilities is really important, your physical and mental health is way more important than clicking circles.
I think that it's enough from me, I am really happy with myself and I wanted to thank everyone who has been
part of my osu! journey while it lasted, without the advices and the opinions from you I couldn't have done anything I did.
Thank you all for being part of maybe mine and osu! biggest achievement.
