- Started playing osu 10 years ago and I'm still trash <3 - - I like storyboard maps with flashing colors - - 4 digit for like a week and now slowly deranking against my will (plz help) - - That's literally it -

Improvement takes time, dedication and practice. The best way to get better is by playing more, but have fun too! The ranks you achieve are the efforts of your hard work. The level of your skill isn't decided through your rank, but it does have some truth to what you're capable of doing. Despite myself not pushing for ranks, I can confidently say that the game is not all about ranks and enjoyable to play from a visual/audible perspective as well. Through that it also helped inspire me a bit to try and get better at mapping to see if maybe I inspire others as well, maybe someday.

I know I may not ever become a top player, but osu will always have a place in my heart forever and ever. I just want to personally thank everyone in the osu community, the music artists as well as the dev for making this game something that I would enjoy for as long as I have already. You all have helped me get through some rough days and I ♥ you all! I don't ever want to quit, but if I ever tragically do, the only fathomable reason I can think of is because it got in the way of my religion... I don't plan to close this account because it's a strong reminder of all the progress I've made in a game I loved and cherished more than ever since my early highschool days. And that's valuable to me personally.
On a separate "Note":
Don't EVER let others tell you what you can/can't do or achieve in your future endeavors, whether it's in osu or other things. You are more than enough and capable enough to get through any and all challenges with diligence and perseverance as long as you set your mind to it. Make sure to take care of yourself and eat properly, and get rest too; the FC can wait but not your personal health. It's midnight for me as I'm writing this but hey, I'll make up for it by sleeping in haha (still probably not the best idea for me nonetheless).
- Used to be a Camellia map farmer, now just farming for my sanity.
- Tech maps are my thing, but I need to work on other areas of skill too cuz I've noticed I really suck at streams hhh
