I like to set plays with mouse sometimes, and I think that people believe that skill relies entirely on the hardware that you are using. I believed this myself when I was a new player, and went out of my way to buy a tablet shortly after starting osu!, now I like to prove myself wrong, and set some plays with mouse every once in a while. Because at the end of the day, it really comes down to practice, and preference. That is what determines which you will be better at, or prefer.

Here are some great people I've met while playing osu! I'm not very good at writing descriptions for people.... but these people have made this game one of the funnest places for me, and without them, osu! wouldn't be nearly as enjoyable.

1. DizzySlimeball One of the first friends I made playing this game, he pushed me to be better in standard, and we improved together. He is probably the reason why I put so much effort into Standard early on.
2. [Kyouko] Although he isn't as good as he used to be, he helped me improve a lot in standard after Dizzy began to slow down his playing, great company to talk to. And even if you aren't as good as you used to be, its great to see you online every once in a while
3. yaityboi Amazing CtB HD player, always good company to play with and sets top tier plays when you aren't looking
4. Gakkun (formally known as ralip) Great CtB player who has gone inactive for bigger and better things. She pushed me to make better CtB plays, which I'm now starting to able to do. She was also a really big help during the CatchConverts tournament.
5. zelatra Amazing CtB player, this guy can probably play any mod combo, and map, and do amazing on it. He is definitely one of the most well rounded CtB players I know. He has pushed me to improve, and always has cool maps to try out. He won’t admit it, but he’s also a really good standard player too, despite his 6 digit rank.
6. NatureOfDying Although he is always too hard on himself, he is a great HD player capable of a lot of good plays. He is very competitive, and its a great challenge to try to take on his scores.
7. junier_old CtB DT Master, and is amazing with many mod combos. He is very fun to play with, really nice, and always cheers his friends on. My goal is to one day get as good as him
8. Sleepteiner Amazing Standard SS farmer and streamer. If you are ever looking for one of the chillest streamers alive you can check him out here https://www.twitch.tv/sleeptein. He is the most diligent osu! player I have ever seen, and is amazing at this game. Sleepteiner can everything... even though he’s mouse only. Nutter.
9. female girl Standard player who is always fun to play with, especially in multi’s. Too bad we can’t get him off ark/warframe to play with him more lol. Incredibly skilled for the low amount of play count he has, just don’t make him play in the morning lol.
10. [ - S T A R - ] Multi-mode player who is just a cool person, super chill and laughs at (most) of my terrible jokes. Wish she would play osu! more.
11. mynt (previously known as Ahtari Upcoming standard player and mapper who I trapped into this game with the seduction of Chad Kroeger and Santana with the timeless map Into the Night. Funny guy who enjoys many of the dumb shenanigans that I’m into. He’s honestly become the life of our osu! friend group with time.
12. ETHN Ethaaan is a taiko god, a tournament player and a deranker. Because of his extreme precision in taiko with high OD, it was no surprise to us he would be amazing at high OD in standard. What did surprise us was how well rounded he was. If he wanted to he could probably get 4 digits. Funny guy who always seems to propose the worst ideas and memes, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
13. Celerrin Dirtiest farmer I know, but I’m okay with it because he’s an acc god. Wtf is that near SS he has for overall acc? He loves playing multi’s with us and he always seems to pick maps that kill the room lol. Also he has one of the most f$cked play styles ever. MouseX is too big brain for me. Great guy.
14. Unknown Beat Is there anything at osu! this guy isn’t good at? Don’t let his rank fool you this is a 3 digit player who has refused to rank up for tournaments. Time and time again he beats us at all of our best skills, and it gives us something to strive for. He doesn’t talk a whole lot but he seems like a nice guy. Hopefully I can one day match your skill .
15. MokkingJayAnother one I seduced with Chad. Funny player who always manages to surprise me with the skill he has. Definitely capable of becoming a great player. I just hope he evolves from the gaming cough setup.
16. Doggiletta One if Trigger’s IRL friends who has become one of the boys. Johnny is coming to terms with the best advice life can give you, “just don’t ask”. He’s quite skilled for his play count, even if he won’t admit it. With enough time I could see him developing into a great player as well.
17. ETHN My Beloved Another one of Trigger’s IRL friends who has become addicted to osu!. TJ started off as just another dirty farmer, but has become a connoisseur of fucked and interesting maps.

These new pp changes are awesome. Heres a quick rundown of the changes for me.

1. I gained 683pp (4619 -> 5302). I was #44 in gaining the most pp in this change
2. I gained 779 ranks (1886 -> 1107).
3. I lost 0.02% [0.011%] acc (100.00% [99.996%] -> 99.98% [99.985%])
4. My new top play is 304pp (328 -> 304) I'm so glad that top play got nerfed lmao
5. My new bottom play is 208pp (180 -> 208)
6. My old pp spread was 42 minus my top play (all other plays were between 222pp and 180 minus top play that was a convert farm map). New spread is 96pp
