This one is for once a dear friend who converted in something I don't like at all. I knew you for a long time, back when I was at school. You were more like a mentor to me, someone I looked up to. I said so many times to myself that I wanted to be just like you, but you made feel like shit a million times. I honestly think you're not a bad person at all, I know a lot about you and I certantly understand why you act they way you do, and I understand why you used me all those years to grow your own ego. Between the bullying I suffered on those WoW discords and the million times you said I'm bad at games you were good, although you were playing those games for literal years, making fun of my likes at music, games, anime, anything related to me. I've got good times with you, and I stayed at your side because I thought I could never improve, but I proved me wrong, I grew older and I think you stayed at that time when everything made me cry, and that's why I'm no longer your friend. I no longer have to hear your stupid ass humor, where everything is just ''jokes'', just to justify hurting others for your own joy. I know you when we all were changing our voices, and we had some discussions over these years, but I still appreciate you. In some way I feel identified when I see you playing osu, because I know you want to get better at this game and your mind keeps saying that you're not capable to do it, although is always wrong. I know you can improve, not in this game but in other games aswell, you have talent, you just need to trust yourself a bit more.

It's funny to think we knew each other so young, but somehow we're still all friends in the group. I feel that you're one of those friends you can either disconnect from a bad day, or that kind of friend you could talk until 5:00am about life. The group you're part off has been a nice refuge, and I hope I can keep playing with you and the group for many years.

It may not mean much for most players, or even for Mathi himself, but this exact moment was incredible, I felt awesome. Nothing describes the amount of joy I had in that tourney, and yeah, I lost twice, but I gave it all, and I showed to myself that I'm pretty damn good at this game. It broke one of those bricks that I've been carrying my whole life - not being good enough - when it was never true.
