osu would be a p good rhythm game if spinners and notelock didnt exist, hp drain didnt exist, pp didnt exist, combo scoring didnt exist, play options were a thing (wtf is map-specific od/ar/hp on a conceptual level?), ratemod was a thing, slider leniency wasnt a thing, timing error was indicated somewhere where ur eyes are (like u know-..-. judges.,.. which are already on screen.....) & note colouring/snap colouring was a thing
but it's still fun
