RESPECT MAPPER
Hivie
I have no doubts in believing that Hivie is the face of taiko today, he has never stopped to impress me and all others with how determined he is to make the taiko community a better and more welcoming place, hosting contests, helping in tournaments, assisting the people that surround him, contributing to the game's community to no end, and overall being the most reliable person I know. His line of work when it comes to checking maps is nigh flawless and his approach to mapping is relentless, ranking some of the most entertaining and silliest maps you'll ever see, pushing the meta forwards in ways that we haven't seen before. It goes without saying that he is also a great person and the coolest friend. I really do hope that he can achieve everything he aspires and strives for. There isn't anyone else who I'd want to be the face of this gamemode, he's the perfect fit and everyone should aspire to be a bit like him, even if just a bit.
He's shown us time and time again that it all is possible, for all it costs is your love.
Genjuro
One of the sturdiest mappers (if not THE sturdiest) to ever touch taiko, a paragon of the gamemode even, Genju is synonymous with the taiko scene as a whole, and that's with good reason. He has been an unstoppable force in mapping, he has explored a plethora of genres, languages, and styles, and he's pretty much your jack of all trades in his craft. I deeply respect him for what he has achieved in so little time, and a small part of me hopes I wish I had as much determination and creative drive as he does, even if just a bit.
meiqth
Mei is not just an exemplary BN, but also an exemplary person, not just because of their clean record or crazy swiftness, but because they're just plain out honest and reliable, and honesty is hard to come by these days, it's reassuring to know that I can rely on them with pretty much anything, just an extremely humbling person. I used to believe that mapping was an extravagant way to bring popularity to your name, but Mei reminded me that it's more about having fun with what you do, it has made me appreciate mapping a lot more. If you ever need someone reliable, nice, and most important of all, honest, you know where to find them.
HEAVENLY MOON
Ireland's pièce de résistance of mapping, as the head of the entire Irish mapping scene Joe does NOT disappoint with the directions he's headed, starting off with small steps and quickly establishing himself in this game with his unique direction in mapping, it's always extremely humbling to see a mapper evolve and Joe is no exception to this rule, his progress has been extremely inspiring and I really enjoy when he maps the kind of music he listens to on the daily, those are precisely the kinds of songs this game's missing. Never lose hope, Joe, you're doing great.
Nifty
The paragon of the SV scene, Nifty was and continues to be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the whole quality-over-quantity meta, as he displays time after time that he's not only a stern and unafraid BN, but that he is also extremely passionate about the mapping scene as a whole. Even with his quirks, he is still without a doubt a master of his craft. Although I'll never be as good as him when it comes to SV usage, he continues to inspire me to keep myself on high standards and to be relentless with the way I approach mapping.
Alchyr
Alchyr, to put it simply, is my favorite mapper. His creative drive knows no bounds and the way he approaches all of the songs he maps is absurd and exhilarating, it can range from the most mundane and pacifying beats to the most aggressive and cathartic rhythms you'll ever witness, he is living proof that in the search of perfection you can achieve greatness, time after time he has proven that his mapping knows no bounds, ranging from the simplest, down-to-earth songs to the hardest-to-approach pieces ever composed, idea and execution are all in this landscape, and he's nailed both down. I aspire to have even a bit of the creative input he does.
frukoyurdakul
He has singlehandedly revitalized the taiko scene to an incomprehensibly large scale, his tool has made the ease of access to cool SV maps so much more accessible that he singlehandedly helped in establishing a whole new meta, where SV maps could become part of the norm and go from being the yearly treat to the monthly or even weekly dish.
Without his tool, a plethora of my maps wouldn't exist, nor ever have come to be as great as I think they were, so I am deeply thankful and humbled to be given the privilege of using it at no cost, without him, many other maps would also not have come to be, and I am extremely glad he gets the recognition for it, he truly deserves it 🤘.

Also, to all my friends from osu!taiko Argentina!

Y'all are some of the coolest people that I've met in my life and I don't feel like I've thanked you enough for the fun memories we made those good ol' days. Thanks for inviting me, and giving me the chance to make some great memories to keep in the back of my head, rent free.
