23-03-2019: a few weeks after blue zenith the osu! event happened, afterwards I switched to a ctl-480 and that was the biggest mistake in my osu! career. My hands are actually very very shaky but I never noticed due to the 50-80ms smoothing on the 490. I tried to just deal with it and continued to play on the 480, but it never got better, slowly demotivating me more and more until the point where I'm at now. Switching back to the 490 isn't an option because I'm used to the low input delay on the 480 now. I'm stuck. I feel like shit and don't want to play the game anymore simply because I can't aim like I used to, can't set the plays like I used to, can't even beat my scores from 2 years ago... This will be the last thing I write for this list, nothing interesting will happen anymore. I tried to switch to dragging a few weeks ago and it worked for a bit, but my shaky hands still caught up to me. Combined with the fact that my hands are starting to hurt when playing osu!, it's probably better for me to not play anymore.

osu! has brought me so many good things in life, and probably even gave a meaning to why I'm living like I am now, so many friends, so many fun moments. Heck it's probably even given me a career through the osu! event I'm organizing. I will stay active in the community by organizing tournaments, helping out streaming for tournaments and doing the osu! event of course. I'm quitting the game itself, but no way in hell that I'm leaving the community.

17-08-2020: haven't written here in a while but after a break of around 3 months i returned to osu! with suddenly insane stamina and a nice reading reset. i can finally say i'm enjoying the game again and today i set one of the best scores of my life. painters of the tempest reverse 3 miss with 98.61 acc. when i fc this map i'll have achieved anything i'd ever want from osu!. it's scary seeing what i'm able to do nowadays.
