Hello, I'm a mexican osu! player, I started playing on June 2017 and since, I've been hooked to this game. I began playing standard and sometimes I still play very casually, but since around 2019 not as a main gamemode anymore. In November 2017 I tried out osu!catch thanks to PennyGiri. I took a long 2-3 year brake from playing propperly in mid 2022 but as of July 2025 I'm back regulary.

Currenly maining CTB with the goal of improving everyday in general and with mods, climbing both the PP and ranked score leaderboards (mostly ranked score nowadays), enjoying the game and achieving completion, setting a score on all ranked CTB maps.

I also like taiko but It's been really hard to learn for me. I'll figure it out one day I promise.

About completion:

I like to feel like I beat the games I play (even if they're not games that can regularly be "beaten"), therefore I came with osu!catch completion, + I enjoy seeing and playing all the different songs and mapping styles mappers put effort into.

I try to get as good of a score as I can in every map (within reason), FC the most maps I can and get the best spot I'm able to in the leaderboard, here's my methodology:

Cups (0-2*~): (HD)DTHR FC's. Mostly with HD than without it. Exceptions on low AR and harder ones.
Salads (1.5-2.5*~): Mostly (HD)HR or (HD)DT FC's depending on how I'm feeling the map. (HD)DTHR on the ones I can handle the AR. Very rare NM exceptions.
Platters (2-3.5*~): (HD)DT FC's for the easier ones, NM for the harder/longer ones. (HD)HR for some of them.
Rains (3.5-4.5*~): NM FC's for most of them. Sometimes (HD)HR, rarely able to do them with (HD)DT. Rarely HD only.
Overdoses (4.5-6*~): NM FC's for most of them, only pass for the ones I haven't managed yet. Sometimes (HD)HR. Rarely HD only.
Deluges (6-7*): NM passes for most of them, NM FC's for the ones I'm able to do. NF scores for the harder ones.
Deluge++ (7*+): NF scores for most of them, NM passes for the ones I'm able to manage. HT FC's or passes for some of them. I might have to NFHT some of the *very* hard ones in order to get a somewhat ok score.

Mods

NM: I love nomod, the way maps are meant to be played. Nice and comfy.
DT: My favourite mod besides NM, fun and rewarding. AR can be hell tho. Would like to improve to the point of being able to farm decent with it.
HR: My friend for leaderboard farming. Not good at it (only recently getting the hang of it), pixels and CS can be hell but quite rewarding to play.
HD: Don't really enjoy HD only but paired with DT or HR is a champion's combo.
EZ: Rewarding to play but very niche, don't play it much nowadays.
HT: My PP farming buddy besides NM. Good for setting playable scores on very hard maps and disectioning hard patterns. Problem is it can become very tedious.
FL: My least played mod by a landslide. I highly respect FL players but I can't play it at all (don't like to memorize maps)
NF: You don't change anything but thank you for allowing me to play all maps lol.
