Hello guys, I’m Inorin.
My real name is Rid (just areal nickname, for privacy reasons). I’m from Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. I have been playing osu!mania since 2016 and have remained active until now. However, in the near future, I may retire from this game, because my current goal in playing is simply to find out how far my skill potential can go. Once I feel that my skill or the maps I can play are enough to satisfy me, I will most likely stop.

HOW DID I GET TO KNOW OSU!?

first learned about osu! in 2016, when I was still in high school and the game was quite popular at my school. Many of my friends were playing it, and the most popular mode at that time was osu!mania. I became interested and decided to download and try it myself. One of the main reasons I was excited was because I used to be a Guitar Extreme 2 (PS2) player back in elementary school.At that time, my friends often played converted beatmaps from osu!standard to mania. However, when I started playing, I jumped straight into true 4K mania. From that point on, I began to improve steadily and eventually became better than most of them.

HOW ABOUT MY PERSONALITY?
I’m an introverted person. In osu!, I usually play in a relaxed way, but I can become competitive when necessary. Even though my performance may not be as good as other players, I always enjoy playing at my own performance limits (I even play almost every day just because I like it, lol). When it comes to in-game communication, I don’t talk much in multiplayer, except with Indonesian players. One of my weaknesses is that I can’t speak English very well, which makes it hard for me to communicate with players outside Indonesia, unless I use a translator or something similar.

One of my unique habits when playing osu! is that I really enjoy playing SV maps. I always feel something is missing if I don’t play at least one SV map, whether it’s when I login or logout of the game.

Another unique habit is closely related to the reason why I use the nickname “Inorin.” I am a huge fan of Inori Minase. I have followed her since she started working as a voice actress and began releasing music albums. In fact, even in osu!, I often play beatmaps that use Inori Minase’s songs.
