I'm a retired aim player with RSI on my left (aim) hand 🧑‍🦯
I currently play other rhythm games such as SDVX, Chunithm, Wacca, etc (which don't hurt my hand at all!!).
I still enjoy the game without playing it and try to play once every 2 weeks or so (if my hand lets me).
