On may 2023, there was an event held for ranked score farmers named scorecamp with Money!! in the prize pool. With my vast amount of free time at the time and love for score farming i decided to join. The thing is that i may have gotten too excited and on the first day i started playing 20 mins after i woke up (compared to my usual daily routine of Several Hours (5 to 8) after waking up. I didn't even bother stretching for more than a minute.

It was fine that day but i decided to do this for 3 more days. waking up, playing for at least 6 hours, usually 4 star maps of 3 to 5 minutes (being a full alt player defo made it worse). Not being used to this much activity right after waking up, and not pushing my skillcap playing 6+ stars, osu felt like a completely different game.

I had my breaking point when I played this one map Mgla - Age of Excuse V [score]on my 4th day when i pushed as hard as i could for an fc. I grinded for half an hour maybe and kinda got it but at the cost of my fingers indefinitely forgetting how to tap. All i felt trying to play more after that was just pain. even after 8 notes.

Since then, I havent ever been able to set another 500 as far as i can recall. I'm forced to retire just 2 and a half years in.
I guess my message is that you should treat your body like the most important thing you have. My greed overtook that and now im forced to introduce myself as a burnt out disappointment. It was made even worse when I found my new friends through this game, watching them all play tournaments, not being able to join all because some 50 dollars and points to the most obscure subset of rankings in a niche genre of video games.
