about
Name is Emily, she/her pronouns.
Started playing mania in January 2017 and focused on competition until around the time MWC 2021 took place. I've participated in a few tournaments after that period but heavily reduced my daily playtime due to work and academic matters.
As of now I'm completely retired from playing competitively, from both a lack of interest and to use my time on other things. I will keep playing random maps that I like here and there and aiming for ranks on stuff that doesn't tire me physically, and that's basically it.

a few noticeable tournament participations
My first tournament was TIM 17, I paired with UrsoManso and it was a pretty nice experience overall, especially because we ended up winning the tournament.
1 year later I joined SOFT 3 and managed to win the tournament. It's the one I value the most due to how much effort I put into it, and was a good incentive to keep playing other tournaments.
I also participated in 2 editions of the Speed of Light tournament, first one was with andreymc (Amerom) and the other with DemiFiendSMT, I thank them both for inviting me as I probably wouldn't have joined otherwise. As for the tournaments themselves they were particularly interesting and had a somewhat unorthodoxy approach to the pools that I appreciate from a competitive perspective.
Lastly, all my experiences in the MWC (Mania World Cup) were remarkable and I don't regret having joined any of them; they were the most fun times I had in this game and I'm grateful to have taken part on each of the teams. Special shoutouts to SillyFangirl and Amerom/andrey for being beside me in practically all of them.

hobbies and other things
Currently navigating through different types of art to see where they lead me to, at the moment the two main ones are writing and drawing.
